While rewatching this video, I can't help but to be very impressed about the fact this is just a brief selection of logos - Craig here has a huge collection of them that runs for about an hour overall - from companies from an itty-bitty island whose cinema industry didn't really took off until the late 60s. This goes to show just a little part of the scale of what the hard-working professionals of HK cinema have achieved, creating one of the world's biggest cinema industries in so little time.
Wow~!!! :D You did an excellent and stupendous job, Craig~! Your welcome-back presentation is awesome and your journey begins with Hong Kong. :D I can't wait other idents from across the country in the style of Indiana Jones. :D Great job, mate and I like your editing of your opening and closing sequences. :D By the way, I have never seen Fortuna Film with a blue background and the same theme as Hong Kong Man Wah, but longer. :D Which one is that from?
The Artist Hong Kong Film logo is from "Bruce Lee Superstar" (1976); the second is called Tien Nan Film Co. and was taken from "Misty Rain" (煙雨濛濛) (1965).
8:03 - What's a Roman centurion doing in a Chinese logo? Culture clash much? 14:55 - "The Chronicle History of King Henry the Fift with his battell fought at Agincourt in France by Will Shakespeare will be played by The Lord Chamberlain's Men at the Globe Playhouse this day, the first of May, 1600."

Great work there. I see it as a fitting handover from the Hong Kong retrologo to this new series
Thanks, mate. I feel the same way as this is more appropriate than a mix bag between Chinese/Taiwanese and Hong Kong logos in one presentation.

Great job, Craig! There were a lot of new logos I have not seen before.
I am un-ironically perusing all of these. I only wish they were all dated as I'm interested in the international history of branding and logo design.

Don't be fooled by the English text
that actually means CUHK Film Studio
NOTE: CUHK stands for "the Chinese University of Hong Kong"

How about both north and south Korea?
I was originally planning to do North/South Korea, but I noticed you already made a showcase of Korean film logos. I don't know if I were to consider showcasing the ones you used for your video, but you're the first user to beat me to this suggestion. My apologies for that.
