You are not just a champion but a wonderful human being. Best wishes for your future and life Tom❤❤❤. Love from India , I believe I will meet you and tell you this ❤❤❤
You are a champion in life as well as sport, Tom. Enjoy your retirement and life with your family. You have raised the profile of diving in the UK and given it your all. Thank you for letting us share your life and wonderful achievements.
So proud of you and all you have accomplished. Well done Tom. Thank you for the memories and the inspiration you gave to generations to Come. Take a bow. You have earned your place in history.
Congrats, Tom, on so many Olympics and so many Olympic medals! Choosing to retire is a challenging decision. I had severe angst in my profession when the time came to choose my retirement date, 6 years ago, but I have enjoyed my retirement years with my family and friends, and, as an added bonus, I've had time to watch you be the diver you've become. I have good news for you: you might have retired from sports, but like me, you are a parent, and even when they leave home, it is a lifetime commitment! Enjoy being a husband, a parent, a brother, a son, an uncle, AND an Olympic Games Gold/Silver/Bronze Winner!!!
I absolutely love Tom and family! I've been watching for years. I wish you good health and fortune with your retirement. Enjoy your family you've earned it.. 🎉
No shame in deep emotion Tom: it's all you've ever known and before you see yourself starting to slip from the heights of the game it IS a wise move. My love to you, Lance and the boys but it must hurt you, it really must and let the tears flow. Luv from Zomerzette xxxx!!!!
He should be very proud of himself. He achieved everything anyone could dream of, beautiful family, married with kids, established career with probably enough savings for life all at the age of 30! Something we can all only dream of...
We love you Tom! You'll still be around. You can always coach, judge, mentor or just support your team. You could potentially still do a couple more Olympics if you so choose!! I know it's a huge commitment and pretty much takes four years to stay in shape and keep at the same pace if not better. Congrats on all you've done for the sport and your communities!
Oh, bless him! He is such a delight …he’ll be doing something meaningful no matter what. His comeback for Paris has been surreal…he has so much to be proud of. 🐑🐑🇳🇿🇳🇿New Zealand
A great man, husband and father. Great to say good bye at the peak of his career and to enjoy the five olympics. Great to the British for having a great sportman in their team. Go Tom! the children and the husband are waiting for you.....
Tom. You will be greatly missed. You are so talented and the best diver Britain has ever produced. Maybe you're son Robbie may take up the sport when he is older. Thanks for all the fantastic competing. Happy retirement.
As an American, they only showed about 30 minutes of the men’s platform diving on network TV. Did Daley even entered the men’s 10 meter (solo) platform? Or did he not make it past the first round?
@@finners62 Thanks for your reply. Was there a specific reason that he didn’t compete in the men’s 10 meter individual platform? Seems to me he would’ve got at least a bronze medal again. (since his syncro diving partner receive a bronze medal) I’ve tried to search on RUclips, and I only just brings up thousands of videos of his past accomplishments. - I know he only specializes in platform diving (and not springboard diving) I was just curious of why he did not compete in the men’s individual 10 meter platform diving at Paris 2024?
@@MikeCee7as far as I know he came out of retirement only 12 months before the games. His former synchro partner was injured so a spot on the synchro team was available. Two divers were already entered into the individual competition and would have trained over the last three years for it. That’s my guess, apart from the fact that at 30 he did not want to put extra stress on his body.
He's commented about being one the older divers in the past. But he still won a silver this time (congrats to Noah as well!) and he got the gold he wanted so long at the last Olympics. So his career can absolutely be considered a success. Hopefully he will still act as a voice for LGBTQ+ people given his high profile.
He's only 30, he's got another Olympics in him. Once he's been laying on a beach for a while, he'll get the itch again. You're a long time retired, Tom.
Tell me you know nothing about competitive diving without telling me you know nothing about competitive diving. Seriously... do you think Olympic athletes only compete at the Olympics and only train two weeks out of the year?
You are not just a champion but a wonderful human being. Best wishes for your future and life Tom❤❤❤. Love from India , I believe I will meet you and tell you this ❤❤❤
He will be one of the most memorable olympians in the history of the Olympics
I hope this absolute champion decides to coach diving...it would be amazing to see him coach up a young man just like him!!!
Tom, You have earned your place in Olympic history. Your country, your family have every right to be so proud of you. 👏👏👏

Thank you so much, dear Tom. We are very proud of you, we love you. Take care of yourself and your beautiful family 🙏💜

But he is still young? Hope he is successful and happy in everything he does in the next chapter of his life! God bless you Tom Daley and your family!
It's wild to think that while he's so young, he has been competing for 23 years. That's longer staying power in his sport than many athletes have.
He's 30. He's been to 5 Olympic games. Fairly normal to retire by 30 in sports like this.
Tom Daley 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤
I cried real tears…
You are wonderful Tom
The right decision at the right time best to him and his family and friends.
Happy retirement tom❤ u made me get into diving
So proud of you tom❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations, Tom! Enjoy your retirement.
So wholesome.
Love you Tom
You'll never retire by me. ♥
You are loved by Japanese, too. We are waiting for you coming back to Japan.

😂❤❤ well done..u deserve it
I cried when I see you cry
I wish he wins individual gold medal in 10m platform. Maybe he will change his mind in LA28❤

How about it Tom? There’s a lotta kids out there. Maybe you could be their hero?

Hasn't he retired before? May be his kids will ask him for a gold in 2028.

What's with that awful guys commentary 😕
Is he like Cher?!?!
Thank goodness he has retired
Man up! You work 2 weeks every 4 years. Like come on

He's upset because the guys from france has bigger weiners and they took the gold. Poor Baby.
Weird comment. What guys from France?
