Grinch ( main character in the famous Dr. Seuss's The Grinch story) felt alienated from the society due to his nature & green appearance. Taeyong definitely doesn't have to think abt his visuals but he calls himself Grinch bcoz of the simliar feeling of lonlieness & alienation from the society. He feels adrift inside & is trying to seek his identity, like a child who has lost his way & has stopped in an unknown place which metaphorically symbolizes the society, the world. To put all of this into context, Taeyong has been receiving hate since his pre-debut days due to very many false allegations & accusations made against him...although they were proven false, time & again PPL like to degrade his name & drag him for anything he does. But in spite of all the hate & criticisms, he still shines like the brightest star in the sky. I hope this helps..& u r so Damn R8 abt his rap being the best part in this song.
