Been Helmsley a few times. Been in that chippy too. lol
Campers used to park up the back car park and sadly following complaints it was stopped. We used to enjoy the multiple pubs and sitting outside watching the world go by.
Seems they don’t want us there in the area then lol😂

Helmsley is a great place, visited so many times over the years and it always attracts bikers. There is so much heritage in and around the village with ruins, castles, National Trust, English heritage and private halls. Just a few miles up the road is Sutton Bank with one of the most spectacular views you will see over Yorkshire.

It’s £20 for a small fish and chips and I live in a small town in Shropshire
So to clear it up, bakewell isn’t famous for bakewell tarts, it’s famous for bakewell pudding, it’s totally different and you really need to try it as you keep confusing them 😂

It's quite sad that the quiet and respectful campers come and go unnoticed, but the messy and loud ones draw attention to themselves and stick in people's minds. All it takes is one bad apple and then folks tend to be suspicious of other vans parking up and we end up with a bunch of local Bobs running about trying to put people off from parking anywhere.
Mate you should have checked whether the snooker place was open before you started off.
As someone that loves baked goods im really surprised you dont know what molton is famous for 'pork pies'

Helmsley is absolutely fabulous; there’s a great little campsite not far from there in Nawton.

Me and my husband go to Hemsley quite a lot were bikers!! Opposite the car park is a nice sandwich shop and deli ,it's very cheap .

It's a shame that free parking in that village wasn't for longer than 20 minutes. Looked a lovely place and the fish and chips looked amazing. Yep, it was a long way to go to buy snooker accessories off a deaf salesman haha. Good video again though. Take care mate. Oh and regards to Matti.

Hey Brendan, I dont live far from Stockton, we have the most beautiful views and scenery locally being on the border of Durham and Yorkshire. More explorers should come our way.
I remember going stealth camping in my car a few years ago in a place not far called Leeming, we parked on what is now the old A1 sliproad (now blocked off but a dead end road) and had a peacful night, went back there about 6 months ago and got told i couldnt camp there by some angry local. I told him i wasnt even camping and that i was just relaxing, i had no intentions of camping this time, but this guy starts taking down my reg so i booked it outta there. Why tar everyone with the same brush ? glad you were safe and cant wait for the next video.

Slightly disappointed that you didnt stay late at the parkup to see what happens. Would have made good content ! When officially does no overnight camping time start & finish ? Ie you could have been driving overnight and arrived for a break at midnight for an hours rest. Could have all your cameras ready to roll. I dare say they probably wouldn’t like being filmed. As long as you leave no trace then no harm done in my book 😊
