We needed this so bad on PC. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for console players finally having GPS, but Giants AI system doesn't put a patch on Courseplay IMO. It is my number-one must-have mod for FS every time it releases. Thanks for the breakdown and the early look into it, Scroft.
As usual, great video Scroft, I am over the moon with this. I can now finally start playing FS25 in earnest and get some way toward the automated management of my farm and fields as I did in FS22. I will definitely be donating to the devs for this mod, nothing else has such an impact on my enjoyment of Farming Simulator.

Yeah, what a feature. It's till early days but I'm happy to have CP back. The notes on v8.0 make point to custom fields being deactivated for the meantime. But most features will be back soon
...LOL! Deselected all mods and introduced them several at a time and the game now loads properly with all original mods selected??? Will play with it for a bit to see how it works. **Crossing my fingers!!**
@@niaralosusa If you have some 3rd party mods, they can come with errors. I would avoid them to be honest. Unless you do the research and make sure it's from the original modder who's posted it on a 3rd party site. But best thing to do is go through the mods one by one until you find the problem one
@@Scroft All seems to be working now. Courseplay is great. I recall in FS22 that Courseplay performs a scan the first time it is used on a map…I used to occasionally get errors the first time it scanned but not after that first time. Perhaps this is what happened?

Been hanging out for Courseplay (and Autodrive). My #1 mod. In FS22 one course for mowing, tedding, windrowing and baling - all at once. Giants FS25 AI is a step up, but it's no match for Courseplay.
Thank you for this update. FS without CP and AD is severely lacking. The new Calmsden will hopefully have CP out of beta, but if not, I will use the beta.
Thanks Scroft, I HOPE this makes the AI less Dumb.🙄 I use to think Giants made Great Games, I have changed my opinion Giants make Ok Games and Modder's make them Great. 😂 I look forward to your future videos on Courseplay.
To be honest, Courseplay is better than official AI workers in my opinion. You can use multiple machines at the same course (you can use 2 combines on one field), it can come unload combine, ... Also you can disable headlands and customize it more. It can also be used for more tasks and customize routes where workers can drive on. It would be cool if Giants worked with CP developers and made whole CP with all functions into the game in the next part of the series.
Yes!!!! Been waiting for this as the fs25 Ai is bugged. Even the ai in 22 works better then 25, But, Giants will fix it eventually. But, CP here I come!
Hi. Have you been able to make cp and autodrive to work together? I am not able to make the tractor to unload in the silo when its full and return to the field? Could you please make a tutorial? 😊
I am so happy to see this and finally make AI workable. It is hard to believe that the dev waisted so much time on tornados and fog, not to mention the hit and miss ground deformation. ATTENTION GIANTS, this is what AI should look like.. Pay attention!!
Don't see any way to make truck load from my silo and go sell it. I remember that from FS19 (Never played FS22) Only option in a truck with a trailer is SILO WORK. Am I missing something ?
i am struggling to get FS25 to see the mod once it is installed in the mod folder. i've tried other mods manually installing and they work so i'm not sure what the issue is. any thought?
Once you have selected your game but before you go into the map there will be a screen showing all your installed mods, you need to click on the courseplay mod to activate it. Once activated you will see a small green bar titled "courseplay", clicking your right mouse button will bring up the courseplay menu
maybe they will finally add course play to the base game next time like they have every other great mod (and some poor ones too). eh, i doubt they will, it would compete too much with their new helper system, which is pretty terrible as it is from what ive seen.

...well, save game won't load. I get an error message and the game has locked up. Off to try again...
...not working for me. Keep getting an error message that locks up the game. : ( Will keep investigating. I'd bet it is a mod conflict.

Mod appears in my mod list but doesn’t let me select in game menu, any clue why this is?
Downloaded cp 25 its in mods folder but not showing up in the ingame mods list disapointed i cant use it

courseplay its terrible at the moment but its understandable and i know it will get better

clearly the people developing this mod did not want it out yet. so basiccaly you are stealing it, not a good sign.

I don't think Courseplay is needed for FS25.
It 100% is.
It is as needed as some large 4x maps…base game sucks. This and AutoDrive are very much needed to make it worth my time playing the game.
If there was one must-have mod for me…this is the ONE. w00t!
