Thank you soo much. Wanted to upgrade to LED when it went out on my b6 and found out that the left light screw was stripped trying to replace it today. You made it look easy :). Good job n Thanks
You can try filling it in with epoxy. Let it dry first and then re-drill with a bit that's relatively the size of the screw you'll be putting in. Start with a slightly smaller bit than the screw and try to screw it in. If it's too snug, move one size up on the bit and try again.
Good lord, RUclips literally has everything. So precise. Same exact car, same exact problem. Thanks!
me too! :D:D
same here 🤣🤣 and it’s the right side for me too 🤣🤣

I drilled a bigger hole got frustrated and now the plastic housing is gigantic. Is there any plastic filler I can put in and drill another screw ?

Having trouble with the needle nose pliers part.
The thread is deep for me and I cant get it out. Help?
What’s the p/n of the screw?
And then what? How did you re-instal the plastic cover?
Took one of the screws to Ace Hardware and matched it up with new ones.
Thank u 🇬🇧👌👍
You bet. 😁 Did you get it worked out?
thank god they realised these screws are horrible and changed it to clicking mechanism
lol i got them out and bought new ones with led and now new problem - an error :/
Fred-Richard Saueauk if you buy the cheap led's, they don't have resistors. Your car thinks the bulbs are out.
Rocky77340 oh okay, gotta solder em on then
I bet that remainder didn't come out with the pliers :P
aqib2000 lol. Yeah, it came out. It's not in there real tight. It's enough to get a bite on.
