The Gangatia Zamindar House was founded in the early British period. This Zamindar House has a lot of history and tradition. The founder of this Zamindar House is Bholanath Chakraborty. Unlike other Zamindar Houses, it has not become a ruin and is still completely intact. Because the descendants of this Zamindar House are still living in this house. The current descendant of this Zamindar House is Manab Babu (nickname) Manabendranath Chakraborty Chowdhury. Manab Babu, his wife, and sister are living in this house, but they do not have any children and neither are his deceased brothers. Currently, this Zamindar House is well known as Manab Babu's House.
