Bishop arts area has a bunch or restaurants and unique stores or the rustic or if you are a pet lover and want to go out to eat with your dog there is a restaurant called mutts but i really recommend Bishop arts odd fellows breakfast

My Deep Ellum recommendation: Easy Slider! They started as a food truck and worked their way up to a great local brand with a brick n mortar right in the heart of Deep Ellum. Great sliders and drinks!

I grew up in Dallas before moving to the Hill Country! ;) Next time you go to Dallas, try out Hattie's on N. Bishop Ave and/or Urbano Cafe on N. Fitzhugh. Also Joe T Garcia's is good, but it is in Fort Worth. David should have pretended that he "fell asleep" behind the wheel! LOL!!
Betos and son is located in Trinity Groves right next to the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge. In Dallas downtown you can visit the dealey plaza better known for JFK getting shot in Dallas and not to far from there is a Holocaust museum. Visit west end and klyde warren park a beautiful park.

Were you guys worried about getting shot at outside Austin for driving a Tesla in Texas? I can imagine how hostile a lot of people there are hostile towards electric vehicles because of how huge the oil and gas industry is there in the state, and EVs are seen as something that only ‘liberals’ drive and associated with California. I’d be scared to drive a Tesla in a red state like Texas
Not at all. As a matter of fact. Austin Texas has become the second most densely populated area for Tesla owners. Saw quite a few Tesla's in Dallas and a huge Tesla Charging station in Waco Texas.

Here in California every time I pass by a charging station it’s full. We got a lot of work to do before we could go fully electric.
