Hey Guys! Make sure you hit the thumbs up button because Evan is back to give us a sneaker history lesson on all things Charles Barkley aka The Incredible Bulk, Bread Truck, Love Boat, The Crisco Kid, etc. Have a good one!
Barkley, Kemp, MJ, Pippen, Iverson, Penny, Griffey have the best shoes of all time and that is how I am trying to build my collection, based around them.
Dope video, I loved the Barkley line! My favorite pair was the CB4 2, low cut shoe, great cushion, and amazing on court. It, along with the Air Force Max, is a shoe that I would love to see Nike bring back. Great job Evan!
Man I remember as a kid growing up in Phoenix, we rocked the Barkley line hardcore! They were a statewide staple. Now that I’m an adult, I try to pick up as many Barkley retro’s that release! I’ve got a decent collection that continues to grow. Great video with stats. Barkley line is real comfortable in my opinion. The Godzillas are a neck turner for sure! Keep up the great videos!
Great video! This was an awesome walk back through Nike history. Barkley really is one of the greatest players ever. His shoe like was very impressive.
Chuck had some of the best Signature Sneakers, I’ve Had the Solid Black,Red & Blue OG Nike Air Force 180’s I truly miss those & the Chuck Posite’s in which I loved & also miss having In my sneaker collection.🔥🔥
KJ was one hell of baller. And can't forget "Thunder" Dan Marjale. I used to have the CB4's back in the day and the cb34's max 2's are one of my all time favs.
When i got the CB2 when it come out in 94/95 and being my first pair of expensive sneaker, i place it beside my bed for months before finally wear it with a layer of cellophane tape applying to the outsole.
Thank you for the content! History documented! For me also is one of my favorite sneaker line. I used to have the Nike Air Force max CB black and blue and Nike air Cb 34 2 white and orange, back in the 90s. I think you could do history in the Huaraches line as well! Very innovative line, I had the first trainer and the basketball one. Thank you again!!
Since I lived in AZ from 91 to 94.... I always wanted the og cb 94 2 colorway even tho there were horror stories I've seen for my own 2 👀 that when u walked thru a puddle the air bubbles popped.... I coppd a pair in the gtown colorway later and they would squeek very loudly lol but I roccd the crap outta em.... I also got the cb 34 sir and Charles og pair and it was dope but they didn't hold up well either falling apart a few years later but always reminded me of godzilla or the phx suns gorillas gumz.... those liberty bell 🔔 jointz were 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 too
My very first pair of signatures were a pair of Barkley Air Force Max CBs my uncle got me, the same ones that are right behind you lol. I cherish that silhouette because of it lol I actually have to ask him whether they were retros or OGs because it was so many years after they initially came out and I was young. Still wore the heck out of them though
@@even_6026 hey even. What's good bro? I wish they'd release the 180s again, but with a better paint job. I always loved the 180s he wore back in the day.
I had the airman 180s in the 90s. The all black ones then the air pocket in the heel popped and footlocker exchanged em for the black and white with purple ones.
Can you guys PLEASE do a complete guide to Deion Sanders shoes… Please include the rare turf trainers that he wore at Dallas… Man o man I miss the 90’s😎‼️‼️‼️
Barkley was an absolute beast when he played and beyond tough. Some of the injuries he played through, players today would be taking 5 months off to heal...looking at you Ben.A shame that most of the younger generation knows him more for his hilarious commentary work than what he did on court.
The Nike Air Force Max on the White and Cobalt OG CW was my first expensive sneaker ever. Where i was Barkley shoes were more popular than Jordans at that time. I still own the last "retro" oft hat shoe. I think they came back in 2017 or something although they fck them up in more than one way. I am still waiting for another retro of the Black and Silver that popularized by the infamous Fab5.
I remember Chuck dominated the sonics in the post in a 7 game series the sonics had a front line of 6'9 6'10 6'10 6'11 in which he dropstep dunked on them throughout the series

What is the name of the middle bottom sneaker? White & teal. Closest I find is air unlimited.

I wore those until the soles came apart. Air bubble fogged and bust. The CB4 2 was built tough. Definitely needs a retro.
The Nike air CB 34 is on my top 5 sneakers of all time
CB 34s go crazy hard! They definitely need to bring them back.
especially those CB 34 twos
I got them 94's too

Man Barkley was such a character. Would be great to have a guy like that in the NBA today.
One of the best ballin shoes I ever played in
Love Barkley’s honesty and he was a beast for his size. His Air Force max CB and cb 2 were my favorite shoes in highschool.

Charles Barkley was like the Barry Sanders of basketball. The best in ever get the big one
Fantastic. I always loved Charles Barkley! Good job Evan.
You gotta do one of these for Kevin Garnett. Rocked Nike, AND1, Adidas and Anta and there were some real bangers over the years.
The Nike Air Max 2 CB '94: My First Pair™. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
The straight jacket 🧥 model! Those are head turners for sure! Hard to slip feet 👣 into them but once on they are mad comfortable!

@@even_6026 dope shoe. I hope it's remastered.
Ppl act like they hate him so much but his shoes sell out faster and resell for more than some of the MOST popular retro Jordan’s.
Yeah recently it didn't use to be that way🤦🏾♂️
@@roshaungoolsby4554, These resellers making it harder for sneaker heads and general fans to cop.
Love Charles hopefully I get a pair one day
Jordan also wore Nike Airships. Bread Airships were the actual "Banned" sneaker, too.
His sneaker line doesn't get enough love
Barkleys sneaker line period was dope
I love the CBs. I have the Chuckposites. Hope they start re-releasing the rest.
Doing God’s work. Really want another release of 180s.
I had the CB34 2’s (1995). Wound up buying 3 pairs. Should have bought 10. Still the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had.

The cb34 II was my all-time favorite shoe. I ran those into the ground...
Underrated signature line, but mostly because it did cater more to bigger players. Great vid!
So glad I got to live during that era, and was able to purchase all those CBs and Jordans when it really meant something.
Them Cb 94👍🏽I still want a pair, and those ones with the Air bubble all around.
What’s the teal & white sneaker next to the Air Force max cb? I wanted those
You forgot to mention the Nike Air Force V. Barkley rocked those during his time in Philly.
1 more would be the Barkley Foam Posites. 🤙🤙
Probably 1 of my Favorite Nike Basketball Shoe

I wore the Alpha force in juco, those were very comfotable
