You mean the fact that either people don't speak at all or use text-to-speech for everything these days? Trust me, I hate speaking to.myself like this but I hate the other two things even more lol Thanks for the sub. Working on one for the 747 right now.
where is the flight plan from the simulator? When i load up the plane (after I made the flight plan in the sim), it shows only the departure airport and the dest airport, what am I missing? I don't wanna use SimBrief, only the sim. Thx.
There is no ILS frequency automatically, because you didn't select ILS runway for departure (F-PLN - L1 - L1). The box is will have departure runway ILS frequency, if that is available on DEPARTURE runway.
As someone mentioned getting the correct altitude is an issue even with auto pilot.Last times I tried the a320 auto pilot did not adjust the altitude?Thx for the video. All I see are SimBrief and overly confusing mcdu videos.Yours’ is to the point.
Great video. How do you do all of this and still use atc for the ifr flight plan. Usually when you load a flight without a flight plan the atc doesn't tallk to you the same way
At 5 minutes 10 seconds, What do you put in for the course? I was hoping you put the degrees of the runway in, but FOUR boxes appear, as if it is asking for FOUR numerical digits for the runway. As we know, we always enter the course (or heading) in THREE digits. Can you shed some light on this?
It should stay blank, if you only enter frequency, instead of identifier. How the aircraft would know, what ILS you are putting in the box, when you just tell the frequency that is used tens or hundreds of times on different places.
@@sms2395 Thanks, I'm still struggling to figure out how to use AP to automatically manage various altitudes along the way based on the flight planner. I can manually select altitudes but I can't get the A320 to automatically manage them in sequence from origin to destination.
@@cottydry Aren't they still working on VNAV? Unless someone has figured that out (I would love to know) - otherwise I just usually manually adjust my altitude on the AP dashboard.
Easy to follow and straight to the point, thanks for the tutorial.
Very clear and simple, a lot of tutorials out there are too long just talking and talking
I SUBSCRIBED right as soon as I heard your "voice".
I'm onboard; you have my attention.
Going to check out your CRJ tutorial right now ~Captain "Mo"

Underrated tutorial thanks man
Wow. Super and Many Many thanks for this. Truly Grateful Sir!!
In the Stable version it populates the ILS when you get nearer your destination
Superb you made my flying experience simple, can you do the same video for a 747/787, thanks

Great simple demo perfect
Many thanks, i will try it tomorrow...😉👍❤️

the flight plan is blank for me
Thanks very much!

When programming into the ILS radio freq, my CRS field remains blank. How does your's autopopulate?

IFR PLATES is no longer an option. I signed up, just Basic account and that didn't bring it up either.
It may depend on the airport. I should have mentioned that I have seen some without any. Mostly outside of the US.
@@sms2395 It was for Narita RJAA and Chitose RJCC both in Japan.
Like Skyvector, Flightaware is mainly US based especially for plates
I take it that this doesn’t work for Vatsim
Does this select the altitudes for you? Will the autopilot fly those altitudes? Can you change them in the MCDU?
No. The altitudes would still need to be set via the AP panel. Maybe I'll do a quick and simple AP flight video soon if there is interest 🤔

@@cebradythere is no VNAV in Airbus.
@@cottydry you can't get A320 "automatically manage them" in real aircraft either.
Instead of wasting all that fuel, why don't you turn off the engine so that we can hear you better?😊
