I just wanted to say thank you SO much for spreading such a positive and good message on what health and fitness should be about. I am honestly so tired of the whole dieting-sixpack-macrotracking-bikinifitness focus that is absolutely dominating social medias today. although these things all can be positive for some in some ways, I think a lot of people is taking it to an extreme level and I know what the consequences may be as I´ve experienced some of them myself. A lot of people forget how much what they say can affect their followers, how things can be misunderstood, and leave viewers/readers feeling bad instead of inspired. I've been going to the gym on and off for 4 years. I'm a girl and Danish gyms are very dominated by larger males in the strength section - they can look very terrifying and judgey when you walk in there in your tights and try to work out how some of the more complicated machines work. I've always been scared about being judged, about not being good enough and people laughing to their mates about how ridiculously I do my workouts. But the thing is - it doesn't matter! I had a man come up to me as I was scheduling my workout on my phone, and he laughed in my face and said "If we all looked at our phones as much as you, we would all be fit as hell!". And this crushed me, my fear had come to life! I was judged by a man in the strength section! But then I realized - I'm not the one who is ridiculous. He is! He is judging someone else, focusing on my workout rather than his own. And I just decided to own my own workout instead of wondering whether one of the old macho guys thought I'm not good enough :-).

Why don't you try something that helps your mind and body that is pretty simple and easy. I found that activities like yoga or a 10 min home workout helped to clear my mind. Once my mind felt healthier I felt like it was easier to manage other things in my life and get them under controll Hope you feel better about things soon xx
Courtney Hartley i started yoga and it was the best desicions ever... now i do it daily and i go to yoga classes and also to the gym, boxing and on runs. it really opened the door to fitness and a healthy lifestyle, now i even do it as a job - i am a nutritionist and will be a personal trainer next year. ☺️ if you'd told me this a couple years ago i just wouldn't have believed you, everything is possible! try doing a little bit of yoga maybe at home with youtube videos and if you like it go to a class, if not try pilates or anything else but yoga helps with the mind as well. 👍🏻
