Great info John, GREAT tip on the price of a Yak Face, I wish I had waited to buy that one NOW, instead of in the middle of the pandemic! Thanks for the vid.

That's a really nice good condition Blue Snaggletooth for only $400, definitely an AFA 80 grade 👌 That Death Star was clean nice complete condition looking especially with the original foam trash😂 except he had the wrong instruction sheet with it😆 that was for the Star Destroyer playset. I like that eBay seller. Thanks for the updates 👍

John, for the TW Boba Fett blasters, the segment under the gun muzzle has to be squared off and not round - so for both the TW Boba Fetts that checks out. However, there are non-TW Fett blasters that have that squared off section - as between two squared off blasters, you need to look at the "circle and line" pattern on that segment. The TW blasters look different than the non-TW blasters. The other - harder to spot from pictures - difference is the profile of the protrusion that sticks out on the right side of the blaster. Variant Villain is your friend here, if you have a cooperative seller.

When the Die Cast Tie Bomber hits 50 years old (antique status) its going to be worth way more than todays $750. In fact the complete Kenner line will go up except Lobot and General Madine.

I've had a conversation with a buddy of mine regarding vintage 80s toys star wars included also . I believe all this stuff is going to crash eventually . Why ? Because sadly our generation is gonna to be dying off and the younger generation is not going to care for it in my opinion and 2 when that happens families are gonna be selling off their fathers collection and there's going to be an abundance of figures out in the market all at once . I guess only time will tell .

Im just saying if you think the market peaked at the 40 year mark (now) not the 50 year mark or the 100 year mark then your dreaming @@DRAGOINTHEHOUSE

@brynjones3481 it has nothing to do with peaking. it has to do that us old dudes are the ones putting the value in these figures and are the ones spending the money . Why? because we have a history as well as nostalgia and connection with these figures. If u don't believe me, look what happened with metal toys from the 50s and 60 or characters like Roy Rogers , model trains, and so on . That generation died out or got old, and the last thing they care about is paying top dollar for an old vintage toy from their youth . Like I said before, the younger generation is gonna have their own nostalgic toy. They're gonna be chasing, and I doubt their gonna be after these vintage kenner toys since they have no connection.

Paying $180 for a HK Boba, even in mint condition, is wacky. They sell all day on Facebook and my eBay listings for $60-$85. I’m not sure what’s going on with some of those listings.
