Hi Jetin, you are doing a great job to explain things in a practical manner. A small help from you I am working on Hybrid applications - HTTPs Protocol, I am unable to record traffic through proxyr ecording, I am very glad to you help on this.
See one question I have, there is an application called "passbolt" which is basically a chrome plugin which we will install in our browser then out IT team will configure it for our organization and generate us an ID and password and gives to us, we should use that credentials to login and do whatever usage we want. Now in order to script this, I am find it difficult because, in Chrome browser , when I see in F12(the entire flow requests for the home page-it displays our email ID by default and the we enter password to login) in the Login page as well post login page, there is no post request containing my User id or password, since its plugin how the auth is happening am not sure, I am asked to do a load test this for 100 to 150 users on this application, I am not getting in HAR also where the request for that POST is , is there a similar application which you have scripter earlier, please help me. this video of converting HAR to JMX is very informative but if you have a solution for this kind of Plugin based application, kindly let me know.
This har to jmx works..for http/s protocol..possibly the plugin you are trying is using someother communication protocol First confirm the protocol and then decide which tool is compatible
@@pstaperformancesecuritytes8262 My request (one of the )Request URL: chrome-extension://didegimhafipceonhjepacocaffmoppf/data/passbolt--app.html?passbolt=passbolt--app&pathname=/ this is the URL which is not getting captures as a request in jmeter, as you mentioned it is neither http not https protocol. so I checked many places online , but i come to an understating that "chrome extension requests" can be automated in selenium, but no where there was a mention that it can be included in a jmeter request... can you guide me if you faced any similar scenario?

While recording each time root CA certificate is created
@Umadevi
Most cases we do not need to download the certificate but...in few situations downloading a new certificate has worked for me
