    I just started watching your channel to get ideas on shop design and thought that a French cleat system would be better than peg board. One thing I liked was the dog (I love dogs). You need to pick a spot for a bed that belongs to her. It can be under a shelf or table as long as she can stand up or sit up. As far as the sounds of the table saw or other machines they will get use to them. Now when I run a lot of wood through a plainer (running for about 10 minutes or longer) I send the doge in the house to protect their ears. You may want to talk to a vet about that. I’m looking forward to so seeing your channel grow, good luck.

      Thank you so much. That is so sweet. I love that idea of making her a spot. Yeah, I do the same when I am using any really loud equipment or producing a lot of sawdust

    Do you watch other woodworking channels on RUclips? If yes, which ones?

    • @ShannonElizabethDesign

      Elchanan yes sooo many hahah. Can’t even list them all haha. But some of my favorites are: “One Minute Workbench”, “DIY Creators”, “April Wilkerson”, “A Glimpse Inside”, “Steve Ramsey”, “Anne of All Trades”, and I’m probably forgot a lot of my favorites. I could literally go on forever hahah

      @@ShannonElizabethDesign Yeah. Those are some of the channels that I learn for too. Especially Steve Ramsey. I got into woodworking after researching how to build a radiator cover and stumbled upon his channel.
      I like watching your channel because it's great watching someone like me who's starting down their path and learning as they go along. Keep it up! And keep the videos coming!

    May I suggest looking into ¾" pipe clamps. They're an easy way to get large clamps at a relatively inexpensive cost. My 48" Bessey pipe clamps ran less than $24 each (¾" pipe included)

    • @elchanan3685
      @elchanan3685 4 года назад +2

      Or 1/2" they're lighter and strong enough.

    • @ShannonElizabethDesign

      I haven't tried those. Thank you! I am always down to save money haha thank you!

      @@elchanan3685 ½" pipe clamps are strong enough, it's the pipe that may not be. I ended up bending a ½" pipe using it in a pipe clamp

    • @elchanan3685
      @elchanan3685 4 года назад

      @@notbernardo7873 I hear you, but I don't think that's usual or will happen that easily. What length bar and how much pressure did you put on it? It must have been a lot. I never had any issues with the 1/2" bars. (I've use up to four feet long bars.)

    How did you solve you glue bottle dilemma?

    • @mlubecke

      A straw works great to gather up any extra wood glue.

    • @ShannonElizabethDesign
      @ShannonElizabethDesign  4 года назад

      Tony I actually bought one of those glue-bot bottles. I filmed this before I posted the first one. Normally I film around 3 videos at once and then just post them once I finish editing. 😊 but yeah super excited to try it out
