Pretty cool! Nice alternative to those Stanley jug things which look just enormous.
I absolutely love my Brumate mugs, cups and can coolers! Great video!
Thanks for the informative video and the discount link. I pre ordered two Era cups this week.
Great video, thanks Mama Beech! I love a little variety in a channel, even if the algorithm doesnt 😂 have a fabulous weekend!
I wish I could justify getting some of these newer styled cups but I just dont have room.
I was thinking of getting one of these, my concern is with some kind of air intake hole...with it being leak proof, does it mean you can only take sips before you start getting negative air pressure? Or is there a hole that gets sealed off when you turn the valve that is hidden underneth the product sticker? I tried to give one a little suck in the store and seemed to have that problem
The Rotera definitely has some pressure challenges. You have to make sure the straw is pulled fully up and even a pull down on the straw a little when you are sipping to get the best results. The Era I haven’t had this issue with at all somehow. It’s perfection.
Rotera: Does yours make a sound every time you take a slip? I'm also having issues with the straw slightly collapsing when I drink, doesn't seem to stay as upright as a hydro flask or hydra peak...I need to keep pressure on the twisting mechanism to keep the straw upright...
This is a common issue. I would write Brumate customer service and let them know. They should send you a new lid free of charge
@@MamaBeech darn. ok. thank u!
Can you use it with really hot beverages? Cause it's freezing where I live and I need one that can keep my beverage hot
I love Brumates for keeping things hot as well, but I don’t think I would recommend these two styles for that purpose. Take a look at the Muv or Nav!
@@MamaBeech thanks 😊
How much does it leak when it is turned over and the "anti- leak" thing is not turned. I have young kids who love to drink out of my water and knock it over.
Depending on how high it’s filled up and how much it’s tipped over, it can leak quite a lot if it’s not locked. Now that being said, if it’s just a quick tip over, it’s not going to be that much since it has a lid. If you leave it tipped over in your car and go grocery shopping (real life experience) it’s going to be pretty wet when you come back.
can you taste the metal by using the straw from brumate ?
Nope! No metal taste
Does it end up tasting like metal? Most bottles end up having a metal taste and I'm so fed up with it. Glass is of course so much better for us but it's just not practical to carry around outside of home
Hmm I have not noticed or been bothered by a metal taste personally. I’d say give it a try!
@@MamaBeech sounds good ☺️
I gave both the rotera and the era Very disappointed in both they don’t keep water cold for 24 hr even with ice. Ice melts within 4 hrs
They replaced my era and the new one was the same. Got a credit so I bought the rotera it used no better. I think I’ll be getting a yeti. Even though I like the no leak feature on the Brumate. The yeti keeps water cold for at least 24 hrs
I’m concerned about this, too. I need the water to stay cold all day.
The 15% never got sent to my email
Email them! Their customer service is awesome. You can contact them at: sales@brumate.com
I will thanks
The era design you have is not showing on the website.
