I prefer a fixed wheel with the benefit of a dual pull brake lever. Also clipped in! I never have to roll out of the goal if I start to lose it- just a few small hops backwards. 38X18

Funny how most of these setups are outdated now. Front disc only with a guard and freewheel is pretty standard now. Helmets still being optional for pickup but required at many tournaments.
