That’s actually a quite impolite thing to say… not every city in Europe has long lasting periods of -20 degrees during the winter, you would have to go to very northern countries like Norway or Finland which have landscapes with a lot of mountains and rivers, so an ice festival of that scale would be difficult. Also, there is a big difference in population density which makes it harder to gather so many people at the same time. And by the way, Europe has ice festivals… just not of the same scale as China.
@@Lupangdeyiji, I think your understanding may be wrong. What he meant by "lazy" is that it's not worth it, because if you have a little of visitors, you may not be able to make back your money.
