U just have to clear all your exams within your 2nd sem ..in 2nd year when Vtu will upload for branch change application the criteria for applying is u need to pass all ur exams and should have more marks(more marks depends on the person who u are competing,if someone u know have also applied for branch change in ur clg for same branch with higher marks then u then u may have less chance so gear up your marks )
