My perception here is that Jon was exhausted or just didn’t want to be there. His performance is lackluster at best. He’s chewing bubblegum and blowing bubbles for heaven’s sake. Richie was Richie, that’s a compliment.

Bonjovi sambora What a stupid statement!! Richie is fantastic. But Jon has always had a beautiful voice and is the primary reason why Bon Jovi is the mega success it is.
Jon didn't shout on the street and tried to sing litely because he had show to play this evening or in a couple days. Listen to Yokohama performance from 1996 and you guys will understand who's the singer... I am not saying Richie isn't good enough but Jon is better and more characteristic.

They sound great together but you can see Sambora just BLOWS Jon out of the water vocally..... These guys were AMAZING back in the day.

No denials, Richie's voice is truly amazing, he is successful both in cd and singing live.. But I can't say the same for Jon unfortunately.

Richie has much more genuine charisma! His interactions with people outside of the concert show his genuineness and leadership!
