I have always found the name "Unicron" fascinating. As if he wants to "unite" everyone and everything in death, while Primus creates multiple life forms, variants of different kind, if you will.
I've always like the background story of Multiversal Singularity Unicron
It took nearly 3 months of research, scripting and video editing but here it is. Hope you'll be able to gain a better understanding of Unicron's different origins and abilities after watching this video. See you in the next one.

Do universes with a Primacronian Unicorn also have their own version of Primus/Vector Sigma distinct from the multiversal Primus or is it only Unicorn who has two types of incarnations?
There are indeed distinct versions of Primus that aren't related to the Multiversal Primus. One example being the Primus from the Kiss Players continuity who was Primacron's assistant. But honestly, after the 2015 Shrouding event, its A LOT easier to just say that every Primus and Unicron are their own unique versions.
Ironically enough, the Marvel version of Unicron shares very similar backstories and abilities to that of Galacrus.

screw attack is going to have a duzy of a time researching unicron for his death battle against Galactus.
I'm actually friends with some of the researchers for Death Battle and shared my research notes and video with them. So if they ever do Unicron vs Galactus, they should have no issues with the Unicron side of things.
Galactus eats Unicron, end.

Unicron and Primus were Two of Ten that were part of a Planet Caravan. The Ten would travel the Universe recording any and everything including life forms and planets. During their long journey the Cosmic Beings would take on new forms based on the discoveries they made thus becoming living planets. Two of the Planets known as War and Peace fell in love during their journey across the stars and their connection could never be broken until at some point Peace became ill and could not travel any more, she needed to rest and regain her strength, and her lover War agreed and refused to leave her side and after time the 10 became 8 and moved on leaving Peace to orbit a nearby Star for nourishment in hopes to one day catch up with the Planet Caravan. Wars desire for his love was sound, he will stay with her and orbit the Star by her side until she was healed and the rest of the Planet Caravan moved on vowing to return for them. While in orbit Peace began her hibernating status as did War and the two fell asleep, but not completely, each created beings that would take care of them while they slept and to teach each other all that they had learned on the Caravan. Peace gave birth to Humans and they gave her the Name Earth, War doing the same and was giving the name Mars. Billions of years would pass until one group of Humans took A turn for the worst causing a tragedy to unfold and a War to brake out between the two human factions who by now had lost all knowledge of truth they once had. The pain of his lover had awaken War and out of fear he worried that his creation would kill his sleeping love so he took what energy he had left and flew close the their energy source the Sun, burning off his protecting ozone shield and killing all who attended to him, as a last ditched effort War gave what energy he had left to Peace while she slept and in doing so killing himself. What once was two beautiful planets was now just one and with the other 8 out in the Universe somewhere Wars last thought before he died was hope that one day the Planet Caravan would return and awaken his love and in turn awaken himself giving him his only wish to return to his love once more....and maybe....just maybe....one day they will all be reunited....I love you he spoke to her closing his eyes for the last time...don't worry my love they will come back for us...and we will be reunited once more....until all are one....

What I am really interested in is whether Unicron sleeps in the earth as his Transformers form or as his round planetary form. I personally would prefer the Transformers form.
Imagine when he wakes up and moves his limbs, destroying the earth in the process. Would be cool to see in a movie scene.
Interesting, I've been a long time Transformers fan, but this really opened my eyes to stuff I didn't know about not just the character but the franchise as well. Good job you guys and I'm looking forward to future mecha talk videos.
P.S. bonus point for using the final boss theme to Transformers Devastation. It's one of my favorite games.
I love Transformers with a passion of my heart, and I hope that if Transformers makes it into an SRW game of sorts, it would change EVERYTHING for us giant robot fanboys!!

Transformers the Movie and Transformers Shattered Glass was the best ever incarnations of Unicron.
Especially Unicron on Shattered Glass is unique and non-consist type, god of creation while Primus is god of destruction.

mynameissport Its anniversary bit theres not really much to talk about or are things that need to be explained honestly so far most things here actually needed to be explained neither does macross honestly

Depends on which version of Unicron. The Astral/Marvel version of Unicron is the only version I believe which could beat Beerus since it was shown capable of withstanding the force of the big bang and can manipulate time.

If its 616, most versions of Unicron would get wrecked. The only one that might stand a chance is the Marvel version since that version has galaxy and universal feats on par with Galactus.

About nova prime i've often wondered. When ever there is an evil character and the good guys turn them good either by convincing them or doing something like changing them in some way. I thought, isn't that kinda evil? Its kinda like mind control if a person is evil by nature and you change them to become good you're basically controlling them so they don't act as themselves. even if a character is evil forcing them to be a good guy is kinda messed up.
In Shattered Glass, it seemed that Nova Prime was a restoration of Optimus' mind, given the SG OP was not right in the head.
But... changing a mind even for good purposes can be evil from a certain point of view

I sincerely do not understand this urge american writers and producers have to fuse everything into one single reality, although multiversal. Do they really think People can not enjoy a product as a stand-alone? In the end, transformers were born out of japanese toys whose lines were not even related with each other, for christ'sake.
Saotome Mondo fact? When that parentline, diaclone and micro change was brought to state, it shortlined. Kids in the states could not get behind toys with no character, no story. The line died, than Hasbro bought the line, rebranded it as transformers and with marvel created the successful franchise it was today. The cartoon ended in 87, but G1 last until 90s. You talk the concept of the toy were cool, but what about the pretenders or the action masters, but both concept are fairly silly and very disliked. The sold because it was back well written comic, Simon Furman run of the comics. In the states, it is character driven, that why more generations toys are being based off their comic versions. No one buys Optimus Prime because he transforms to a truck, they buy him because he is Optimus Prime. You clearly don't understand the franchise works in the states. FYI, both visionaries and jem have gotten reboots.
Like the US is the only part of the world that exists. How IDIOTIC is that? Transformers were a smash hit in Italy, France, and latin speaking countries way before Fucksbro ever put their filthy hands on the franchise. And Convoy was desired in Italy much like the Diaclone version of Optimus Prime was desired in Japan, which means, a lot. And that, mind you, is because Optimus did not reach Italy until Fucksbro came in. And all that without any fucking comic or cartoon, just a well thought marketing campaign with powerful imagery. Story and comics? Go study some toy history. Diaclone had both in Japan, and it was successful enough to last over a decade. It was also very popular in Europe despite the lack of comics. The real reason it flundered in the US is because the ameridiots who managed it did not promote it properly. Also, how does a franchise work in the US? By exploiting other franchises that othjer countries invented? Might I remind you, that if it wasn't for Japan, which continued the Transformers franchise when popularity lowered in the US, there would have been no continuity at all nowadays? How about the series which were produced in the nineties? Were they not 100% Japanese produced, and just imported, adapted and dubbed in the US? And how about today. Aren't Transformers Robots in Disguise produced by Polygon Pictures which, if memory serves me well, is a Japanese company? All the US are capable of, nowadays is stealing ideas and make them their own without inventing anything. Lastly. Visionnaries had a reboot? Ok, show it to me. Jem and The Holograms: you call that shitty movie a reboot? Come on, stop fooling around.

It was ended transformers was a huge success and takara import the line back from Hasbro and became partners ever since. As for the cartoons, beast wars was made Canada studio. The only cartoon to be fully made by the Japanese is RID/ car robots and the Unicron trilogy. RID 2015, animated, and Prime were written in the states and animated in Japan. Beast war 2 and neo never left Japan. Polygon Picture has been outsourced many western companies to make cartoon. Pp animated Star Wars the clone wars, does that make it Japanese, idiot.

Old video, but the entire multi-verse BS was killing transformers.
As far as I am concerned, in transformers there is one universe and that follows the G1 series and movie.
The whole multiverse BS was simply because there was no over-seer in place so everyone just created their own crap in leui of a continuity / overall story arc.
One Unicron and no more. Also the whole unicron being the earths core doesn't make any sense and the movies are going in a bad direction (he is larger than earth so how exactly)....
