That elephant's close encounter at the end - damn!! I held my breath watching it! 😯 Can't even imagine how amazing it must be to do all that in person... Hopefully, one day 🤞

Wow!! Stunning shots! Thanks for sharing your adventure travels! When you bravely captured that final scene of the huge elephant walking towards your small car - those tusks and the wild grunts - I think we were all terrified!

Hi the dung beetle scores so many points because of the importance it plays to the environment it is endangered aswell. The entire idea is to make sure visitors to the park always look out for them and in this way more less dung beetles wil be driven over. Great video

I recently went there when I was on holiday. My family come from South Africa. All the birds (especially the drongos XD) wanted to fly to us when we were preparing food. A sunbird flew onto my sister when she was eating! I guess they have been used to people because people might have fed them before; although you're not supposed to.

Hi guys. Love the videos. Keep it up. Nice to see my country and home town of PE from an outsider perspective. We often pop into Addo as we live very close. You were very lucky to spot that green snake. It's a Boomslang and is one of the most venomous snakes in SA. Looked like a small one at least. Lol. Next time you are here drop me a PM and we will show you some hidden Gems that tourists don't get to experience. Keep well and safe. Regards

We would love to explore more hidden gems on our next trip and always appreciate a locals perspective! Thank you!

Awesome footage again. Just some advice, never put the vehicle in park near elephants. Give them some space and be prepared to drive off. They can charge the car

You also need to learn about Kudu before you talk about them. Addo is Ad Doe Addo. Cannot believe you did not learn that there. I like Addo smaller then other parks and see more game.

That elephant shot was epic, but after researching this place, I understand why people never recommend it for safari. This park sucks. They don't have giraffes. They don't have wildebeest. They don't have cheetahs. They have almost no rhinos, leopards or hippos. I see that the Cape provinces aren't the best for wildlife. Sanbona is probably the best, but it's extremely pricey. This is the problem with Africa. You can either do a history/culture trip, or a wildlife trip. Not both. Kenya is maybe the only country where it's possible to do both (at least for a reasonable price without having to travel great distances), but Kenya is too underdeveloped and has security issues.
I think the northeast portion of the country can offer both wildlife and history/culture, but that region isn't as scenic as Western Cape. Nah, I still think Western Cape is best, and there's still plenty of reason to visit. They still have some original animals, and at least they have the private reserves, but I just wish some of them would be more affordable and easier to access.
But yeah, I see in general Africa sucks for tourism. If it's not one thing, it's another. I think it's possible to have it all, if you have the finances. One thing I can say is that, it certainly isn't for the budget traveler.
Whatever. Western Cape is still number 1. Screw the wildlife. lol I just wanted to give my mom a genuine safari experience.

Your ignorance and lack of knowledge is showing. The national parks have as policy that everything should be as natural as possible, e.g. no animal species that aren't endemic to the area. That's why you won't find giraffe there. It's not a zoo.
As for the private reserves.. I found the ones in the EC to be very good. Shamwari, Kariega, Pumba, and plenty of others, they are all top notch and provide the wildlife experience you seem to be after. I've lived on Shamwari for a few months and visited pretty much every reserve in the EC and I've had so many incredible wildlife experiences there.
