Oh my gosh, looks absolutely wonderful! Yummmm….😋 I was wondering if this recipe would work in a 13x9x2 pan as opposed to two 9” pans? Also, instead of the oil in the batter, (I’m just not a fan of using oil in cakes) I use REAL unsalted butter. To me, it just makes the cake that much more moist! Thanks Donna for sharing your absolutely amazing chocolate cake recipe and all your recipes! God Bless 🙏🏻❤️

Hello Alice I have always made this cake in 8” pans if you try please let us know your results I have tried butter but in my honest opinion the cake is much more moist with oil in this cake I truly hope this helps❤️
