Hello Johnny👋🏻! awwwwwwww man!! Steve is awesome!! I really like the info he gives on equipment, records.....great giftage from a great guy👏🏻ENJOY😉I’m sure you will 🔥🤘🏻🎸
Hey John! Wow! Saying it’s been a while since you’ve done a video like this is really an understatement. It really takes me back several years when you did these types of VCLT videos on a regular basis, so very generous of Steve to pass both of those albums along to you! I can tell by your smile that you are definitely enjoying the gifts! That Eric Carr album is very cool and something every KISS fan was excited to see for RSD only to find out about the limited number of copies available only to be bought up by the eBay sellers just to flip them for double and triple the price! Take care, enjoy and talk soon! ~ Jeff
I am curious, did you find yourself a copy of this gem? I do not remember a video of you showing it. I am still smiling, and it is the next morning. I listened to the Smashing Pumpkins lp twice last night, and the Eric lp once. These are gonna be hitting the platter a lot in the future!
Good evening Johnny. Anyone who Is familiar with your classic VC videos would most likely be familiar with Steve's videos too. That was very cool of him to send you the RSD release that was not available in Canada. I agree with you. That poster is sweet. I cannot say that I ever heard an Eric Carr solo song. That is unless you have jammed to one in one of your videos. Question. Since Eric has his own Kiss solo album now like the other four member. Doesn't this entitle your buddy Bruce Kulick to have one of his own at the next RSD outing? That was very cool. Way to go Steve. Thanks Johnny for sharing it all~ Rob/Boston
Hey Rob, this music was never released officially until this year. You could find it on bootlegs, but was never up to this quality of sound. I am so thankful that it was finally released. I would love to see Bruce put out a solo album that looks like it belongs with these, but he was one of the only 2 members who never wore make up in the band, (the other being Mark St. John R.I.P.). He does have a few solo albums out already, but missed the mark on making the packaging look like this. Maybe his next solo release. BTW. Happy belated Birthday my friend! Peace!
Awesome video!! My favorite Pumpkins song is Disarm from Siamese Dream! Eric Carr solo album! 🤯🤯🤯. Did not know it was a thing! Love the poster! Bruce Kulick is my favorite lead guitarist after Ace left. Dude is amazing!!
Disarm is he song that actually made me a Pumpkins fan. Great choice. This Eric Carr album was from demos that he recorded with Bruce back in the 80's and were never released. It sounds like Bruce may have went into the studio and cleaned them up a bit. It is a great listen, if you can find a copy, I highly recommend it!
Awesome, so glad it got there in one piece. That Smashing Pumpkins is a killer live set. That show was the CD release for Siamese Dream. Enjoy it brother.
I thought you sold all your records and didn't own any anymore Cap. I guess I was wrong.... You went Jeep mode after live guitar videos of KISS songs and I never seen another record from you.... Yeah Steve's a cool cat even if he is a metal head. LOL... I never really knew him and only from his comments on your videos and you talking about him occasionally. Then I was asked to be a regular on a Friday night stream by Patrick The Vinyl Archivist and Steve became a regular panelist too. Yeah Steve's cool, I like the kid. He sure knows his shit....
Steve is very much like LJ, he really knows his metal, but loves all kinds of music, ask him about country, rap, classic rock, he knows all of that stuff too! I sent him a huge selection of April Wine lps that are not available in USA, he loved them!
Awesome VCLT from Steve! So cool!! An Eric Carr solo album!! Definitely found the right home!! Steve is a top guy!! Have a good one John!! Cheers, Jon
Hey Jon, Thanks for stopping by. This was definitely very nice of Steve. So stoked for BOTH of these albums.
Thanks for watching!
They did such a good job with this. The poster and vinyl are just beautiful. Glad you got a copy. Have a good week.
🤘🔥
I am really impressed with the packaging on this. Looks like it came out in '78 with the rest of them.

Hey Lisa, I couldn't have said it better myself. Great gift, from an even better guy!

No sir didn’t find a copy in the store only online but won’t pay the triple cost seller’s are asking for them…enjoy and take care!
I just got the Carr on CD...had to order from France. After the official Carr FB page really jacked up the price.
Yeah, I see that happening all over the place, it is really too bad. Glad you got one though, it is great music
@@johnnyhawk1753I had the previous CD edition...but 5 bonus tracks, y'know!

Such an awesome package, how did you remember that I love the Smashing Pumpkins? Man, that is a good memory on ya man! Thanks again!
Excellent RSD VCLT bro John! I'm not sure if Finland got any of those Eric's "solo albums".
Rock'n'roll,
💪😎

I had to go listen how that Beatles' song by him sounds. :)

I sold every lp, but I still have each and every piece of VCLT ever given to me. I would never sell gifts 🎁
