That skin coat sure makes it look different and the feature wall is something else. It sure is a big house Bryan and once it's painted will look massive. The finished video will be good to see. Bushyboy Oz.

BRYAN ITS AMAZING THE WORK YOUR TEAM GETS THROUGH, IAM STILL WORKING IN THE UK, IVE HAD A LOVELY HOME IN AMPHOE SITHEP, PHETCHABUN BUILT, MY WIFE FOUND A TEAM OF BUILDER LOCAL TO OUR VILLAGE. ALL I DONE WAS DRAW A VERY BASIC FLOOR PLAN SHOWING BEDROOMS BATHROOMS WERE POWER POINTS LIGHTING ECT WOULD BE, MY WIFE TOOK OVER AND WHAT WE WOULD CALL PROJECTS MANAGE THE BUILD WHICH SHE DONE VERY WELL, I WOULD COME APPROXIMATELY EVERY 3 TO 4 MONTHS AND WOULD BE AMAZED WITH THE PROGRESS. EVERYTHING IN UK TAKES SO MUCK LONGER AND 20 TO 30 THE COST EASILY. KEEP UP THE EXCELLENT VIDEOS, SAY HELLO TO PIE FROM US, WARMS OUR HEARTS TO NO PIE FOUND YOU AS HER NEW PARTNER. BEST REGARDS ADRIAN AND TUI.

Impressive work you and your team do mate - caught a few of your videos and projects.
I do have a question - given the standard thai construction menthod of Post & Beam, is there any reason you couldnt make the posts / beams 20cm square and then fill in with 20cm deep blocks removing the visibility of the columns in the final product and keeping straight flat walls.
I appreciate there may be a cost implication for the blocks being bigger but it wold enable windows to have decent window sills etc. Just an idea I am contemplating for a build I will be doing soon up country. I can see a number of benefits both in appearence and insulation for thermals and sound
    Cheers
    D

Hi thanks for your questions. It's not easy to get the 20cm blocks it's normaly a special order and all districts don't do it. I personally like to do the double block with a 2inch air gap for air flow to keep the house very cool. I don't recommend the white thermalite blocks as they are for colder country's and not strong enough to use as a external wall. I seen it so often here in thailand. Hope this answers your question buddy. Much appreciated for watching 🙏🙏🙏
