Here is a tip Matt: what the triangle and square tiles do (from last episode) are; if there is 2 different tiles with plants on both tiles and you give plant food to one of the plants, the other plant gets some plant food diverted to it, too.
Lightning reed works insanely well against groups. The chain lightning causes groups to die quicker than individuals because it can go between the zombies to hit all lanes which basically means 1 lightning reed can hit every lane for 125 sun each
Tip for Matt = the Lightning reed plant is a perfect chicken killer for its cheap price and can hit 3 lanes wich is awesome (the plant is sadly underrated).
It’s low damage makes it unusable against stronger zombies, common in the later game. It isn’t underrated, it is hard to fit into your loadout, especially when you could be bringing stronger attackers.
tip for Lightning reed: it can be good in mass amounts. I'm talking 2 or 3 rows of them before the last wave. if you can get that set up it can be extremely powerful because the lightning can just chain through all of the zombies
Tip for Matt: the levitater is a pretty bad plant since all it does is levitate zombies and send them back a bit, which Spring Bean an Chard-guard do better And also benefits zombies more than you, because when they're in the air they can't be hit by shots from the front like peashooter and can evade the lawnmower
Well, at least, levitater still have a chance to toss zombies out of the lawn and when use enchant mint or leveled him up enough until he reach level max his chance to toss zombies out of lawn is a lot higher

Hey matt, in the almanac, if you tap on a plant from a world you haven't reached yet (Such as Tile Turnip of Chard Guard.) and press the "View on map" button, you'll instantly skip to that world!
a quick tip for late-game: most plant foods get more powerful as you level up the plant, but pea pod is an exception, so no matter how much you level pea pod up, big bertha isn't gonna be very effective... edit: lightning reed is pretty bad at everything, except killing hordes of weaklings.
In general it's terrible, most it can do is lift zombies and can actually benefit the zombies and not the plants because when in the air straight shots are evaded and lawnmowers can't kill them
Fun fact: in version 10.8.4 Levitator got buffed so now straight shooting plants e.g. Peashooter can hit zombies being levitated, and it's time until it levitates zombies again has decreased, and it's chance to levitate zombies off the lawn has increased largely as well!
Tip: at the start of the level there will only spawn one zombie if it gets past a certain point then the next wave will come, if you kill the zombie the next wave will come but if you stall it on the first tile like with iceberg lettuce maybe, then next wave won't come, sadly over a little bit of the the next wave will still come but with this method you can get a little more time. It may seem useless in the stage you are but later you will need this. ( Oh and can i please get a shout out? )
pro tip: in the last video you thaught the thing with weird green balls was bad but it actually is an appease-mint, it boosts all appease-mint plants (the ones with the little peashooter symbol on the top left) also the lightning reed is a good plant when there are ALOT of them planted on your garden since they shoot fast. gooday
Hey Matt! Good news! As of the most recent version, you can unlock story mode plants earlier than usual if you get enough seed packets! This solves the upgradable but unusable issue!

Matt you are doing great and I enjoy watching your vids. Some tips to help you on your journey, to easily kill a plain zombie have a single peashooter, for a conehead 2 peashooters and for a bucket head at least 3 peashooters worth of damage. Also I highly recommend avoiding pennys pursuit until you are much further in the game and have many level 5 and up plants. In pennys pursuit you can choose a difficulty and the highest ones would make a normal zombie have to take around 15 hits to die by a level 1 peashooter.
Matt you should play PvZ heros! It’s completely different from PvZ 1 and 2. There’s also less micro transactions so your wallet can recover a little bit. (Like so Matt can see)
Matt! The new update makes it able to unlock story mode plants with seed packets! But you can only do it in the choose a plant cause the almanac just says view on map! (If you hit view on map and go to the 1st lvl you can play the world early)
The levitater feels like a plant primarily for arena battles, Pushing zombies back each time, can lock them into the higher points area allowing the user to collect many more points
Penny’s pursuit is basically the hardest mode ever. Later on, with hard difficulties the zombies have incredible health and speed, with new zombies that are harder. Either high level premiums or mastery normal plants will do.
When you’re so early RUclips hasn’t processed the video fully yet so you need to watch it in 360p. Edit: lightning reeds are really helpful against chickens because of the fact that the electricity transfers between targets. If you ever have trouble with a stage that has chickens, I’d definitely recommend them! A few can go a long way against them. Also fairly good way to damage large crowds of zombies, yet again because of the electricity being transferred between targets. :)
@@diamondmst2335 from experience, RUclips can take time to fully upload things in 720p or above. It’s often why RUclipsrs will schedule their videos to be uploaded at a specific time; so RUclips can load it in its highest possible quality before the video goes up.
Tip for people about to begin jurassic marsh: the most threatening part of it is the dinosaurs, mostly the pterodactyls, and the ankylosaurs. the pterodactyls will basically grab a random zombie and make it go backwards to where it came from from the final square. The ankylosaurs will fling zombies very far just like the stegosaurus or the raptors. Huge waves will happen very early so use cheap plants. This will also effect how much sunflowers you will be able to place before you have to start placing attacking plants. USE MAGNIFYING GRASS. They will spam fossil heads at you in later levels and other strong zombies. Imps are also very annoying. Plants like snap dragon and other plants that can shoot over multiple lanes are very useful for early rushes. Primal potato mine is also very useful. This world drained my coins so hopefully it doesnt do this to you. Big wave beach will also drain your coins so watch out.
A guy from the pvz subreddit who is a guy that works in popcap He said "levitater is a bad plant, i wanted to remove the plant all together, but they wouldn't let me in the program offfice"

Try not to use Levitater too much, because it's not great for an Arena plant. Sure, it lifts the zombies up and away, but most plants can't hit them until they land.
Eletric Pea shooter seemed OP before but now that you have a plant that can literally stall plants by throwing them into the air (AKA Levitater) that combo seems like it could literally beat any level in the game if it were available to you (I doubt it could but it does seem like an incredibly powerful combo)
About the early access "packs": as the name says....it's just 30 bucks to get a plant before everyone else gets it for free...or it's for people who don't want/don't have enough time to win a huge amount of arena matches to unlock it (each win you get 5 trophies and you need 300 to unlock the plant) In my opinion, Levitater is by far the worst plant of this year, let's see if the next plants will make those 30 bucks (or arena grinding) worth it
The next plant js tomb tangler, which is a plant you can only plant on gravestones, but can pull zombies down using its fog, slow them down, and act as a wall. It's an interesting concept.

You need to absoloutly spam lightning reed and itll be really good, three lanes of it would be really efective. Hope this helps, Matt!

Tip: put a few columns of lightning reeds, it’s worth it. It helps with chickens also.
tip for matt: after you got the trophy of the nurse wallnut you can now heal damaged wallnuts
by placing another wallnut at the same spot.
