I just got one of these and yours looks like the only video of this model on youtube, I think I used one of these in middle school, luckily I have the manual. I'm going to try and make some retro-amateur film with it. :)
@Aarius1972 its pretty easy to learn, though you may never use the keypad in the middle for the ugly looking on screen title texts its cool that it has it. basicly its a linear editor for high 8, so you would need two of those camcorders or a vcr tihe input that that has (looks like a headphone jack for the controller in) and you would be able to fast forward and input In and Out points to record from one video to the other, its hard to explain, but look up how to linear edit using jog shuttle
I'ts an edit controller, got the VCRs n everything too? I had one back in the day it was awesome weird that your camcorder base has the mixer control in too, I just had the VCRs witht he tray for the high 8 draw.
