Such a beautiful home although in a 55+ community I would be looking to scale down, not purchase a large 3 bdrm home. But definitely a no-buy for me as there is absolutely no protection from the gators coming up from that channel and onto your property. And you KNOW if they're coming onto your property they're goin' in that pool!
That is the model home. The pools there have an enclosure or fencing. And they do have smaller homes in that community and just as beautiful.

That close to water I’d want the pool caged in. You can’t leave all the doors open otherwise.
Some things were nice but the bedrooms were way too small.

What do you mean when you say "55+ Community" ??
Great question 55+ communities are homes in communities reserved for majority of adults age 55 and over. The communities are 80% reserved for those 55+ and over, the other 20% can be for those under, however many communities have age restrictions that all if the residents must be adults. They usually provide more affordable homes and they come with an HOA that can include a range of things from lawn care, cable, water to amenities such as pools, gyms, recreational activities & hosting tournaments.
