Thanks Luke great demo of the Rubino , this is a one day machine for me will have to keep using my $399 Sunbeam Max with the Champion coffee from Artisti
Hi there, thanks for your wonderful video. I bought this machine from you guys, it works pretty well. But I realized there is a button under the bottom, what is that stand for? I remember there was another video mentioned that is for the machine keep in standby or something else, I can not find any information that explain what it is. If that can keep the machine in sleeping mode? If so does it mean I don't need to switch off the machine after service and keep the tank or pump in warm without much energy consumption? Just think it takes a little bit long to warm up after get out the bed. Thanks for your help.
That means I don't need to shut down the machine and reheat the machine every single time? I can make a coffee immediately with keeping the power on?@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters
There is noting to program on this machine? You are the brain, the o oh thing is a manual internal adjustment for the steam pressure but a tech should do this not a home user.
Hello, very happy with this review. I was wondering, in your opinion, do you think that would work well in a small coffee shop? By small I mean a low quantity of customers per day. Thank you!
@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters oh yeah, I considered that but my idea is a small small coffee shop. So I was wondering if the machine can keep up with the coffee shots. Sorry to disturb making questions 😳 I'm extremely interested in this machine, but I'm also having a look at the Plus version. Thank you again!
Is there any reason why one wouldn't be able to use a naked portafilter in this machine? Also, sorry if I missed it but Is this a single or dual boiler?
Well ... I would add an extra couple hundreds of dollars to go with Bianca. You get precise temp control (for both boilers separately); you get dual boiler; you get manometer; you get flow control paddle; you get the same nice italian look & design with wood paddles; you get a more durable rotary pump; you also get a bottomless portafilter.
Sure the Lelit Bianca is a nice machine. At $4100 it’s $1100 more and should have all the features you have mentioned. A great option at that price point. 👍🏻
Temperature stability is great, it uses a pressure stat to maintain its temp. This has been the standard in machines for many years. 👍🏻 pid is only needed for dual boiler machines where you want to change the brew temp
@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters reallY? I have had a quickmill single boiler with PID for 12 years or so. I can adjust the brew temperature, which i find very useful. Don’t think you can with this machine.
You do not need a dual boiler to achieve frothing and brewing at the same time. It’s a single 1.8lt boiler, heaps of pressure to steam and brew at the same time. It’s a HX machine. Dual boilers only allow you to change the temps and also do more volume as the 2 boilers will keep up easier
No sorry. We do not look at the sun $1000 market as it is more for the appliances stores. There are a few machines that have heat exchanges but I would not recommend these for a coffee cart
Wow, interesting pre-infusion technique. I have never seen that before but it makes sense.
Thank you. It work really well,
The quality of your videography is very nice. Enjoyed the nicely done and succinct demo.
Thank you, it was great to video such a nice looking finish

Make sure you enter the grinder give away on our socials!! You can watch n a quickmil sirio grinder worth $1300!

Yes it’s a low power option. Rather than standby.

Hello, is there a video where you teach how to program it? Thanks

Hi this or the rocket appartamento? any help would be great
Hello,
very happy with this review. I was wondering, in your opinion, do you think that would work well in a small coffee shop? By small I mean a low quantity of customers per day.
Thank you!
Ideally you need a machine that is plumbed in for any commercial application as you don’t have to keep filling the tank. Great for home or the office
@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters oh yeah, I considered that but my idea is a small small coffee shop. So I was wondering if the machine can keep up with the coffee shots.

Hi, how long does the machine take until it is completely heated up (including the brewing group)?
All HX levers like this are recommended for 15 mins heat up for best heat stability. But you can make a coffee if desperate in about 5 mins
Hi, do you have to always manually pour the coffee shots like you did or does it have like 1 shot 2 shot function so it stops automatically
Is there any reason why one wouldn't be able to use a naked portafilter in this machine? Also, sorry if I missed it but Is this a single or dual boiler?
Hi, single boiler that is 1.8lt. A great size for the price. Yes, naked portafilters are awesome in this machine! They are in our web store on sale!!
@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters Awesome! Its like a budget La Marzocco lol ❤ thank you for the reply!

@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters Ah sorry. I was lost a bit in the currencies, I thought the difference is really just a couple hundreds of AUD :)
Looks very nice. How is the temperature stability as there doesn't appear to be any PID?
Temperature stability is great, it uses a pressure stat to maintain its temp. This has been the standard in machines for many years. 👍🏻 pid is only needed for dual boiler machines where you want to change the brew temp

Is this a dual boiler machine that allows simultaneous brewing and frothing? At its price point it should be.
Does anyone know if a 58,5 Tamper works for the portafilter?
58.5 would be very tight, 58.4 is good if you use a straight wall basket. Any newer larger tamper would need to be a ridge less basket
Do you have any videos on beginner commercial coffee machines under $1K I want to get one for a coffee cart.

How does it compare to the ECM mechanika slim?
Does the stainless steel have cool touch wands or just the black?
Just the black 👌🏼
When I select "Merch Store", I just get a page not found. I'm trying to purchase apparel to be shipped to the US.
Thanks for letting us know, we will check this out ASAP!!
Its a beautiful machine. Just wish it was a dual boiler
The brand has other dual boilers but not there yet in the black and timber, I’m sure it’s not far off.
@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters i love the lever for steaming milk instead of the dials. so much easier.
I can only see a Lelit Biancaiwithout the profiling kit in this video...
Because you bought one? Many Italian machines share parts
@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters I have an ECM Sync., same story, but this looks like a Bianca :)
Great review, thanks Luke! Was wondering if a bottomless portafilter is available for the Rubino?
Yes it sure is, the standard e61 we have on our site will work, and if you have the timber model you can swap the handles over. 👍🏻
Is that the quick Mill Rubino 0981?
It’s the same as our Rubino in stainless steel. But an overseas modle
Its called ambra in switzerland i guess..i hv exactly same but different name..
I have heard that they do make machines for other companies that are rebadged or slightly modified in someway. How do you like your machine?
@@ArtistiCoffeeRoasters i love the machine..worth for every penny
How about a pid!!!
This or the Rocket Appartamento?
That shot was far to quick, also there is nothing about that machine that is really different than any of the other E61 machines on offer.
We keep it real in our videos, we could have made it perfect but that’s not what the average person can achieve without practice. 👍🏻
What were you expecting on a coffee machine ..wifi???
Does somebody know which model number this rubino is: 0981 O-NE-RQ
It’s the same as the 0981 over seas, but you choose it as stainless steel or the black and timber
