    Great video, thank you! The moulding around my windows are mostly flat with a little bit of a decorative routing. Will it be ok to following your instructions on that? Thank you!

    This helped me a lot. I have old school windows 🪟 so I was trying to figure out how they’d look up there without it looking dumb 😂

    What if your molding is decorative and isn't flat ?

    • @ParkRoadGuy
      @ParkRoadGuy 7 месяцев назад

      You can mount it ABOVE the molding on the wall, in which case you likely want it wider than the molding so that it fully overlaps the molding.

    That's for explaining why you need to use a drill

    Don’t you need a spacer behind mounting bracket to keep blind from rubbing against window trim

    • @getitdonehomerepair
      @getitdonehomerepair Год назад

      No you don't need any spacers.

      If it was a wall mount above the window frame you would need a spacer. He mounted it directly to the trim. Which I would never do. But to each their own. 😊

    I thought blinds were made to cover windows on the inside ???

    • @getitdonehomerepair
      @getitdonehomerepair 24 дня назад

      Yes they are but with some windows you don’t have enough space to do an inside mount. Thank for watching
