At the parole hearing, the pictures of his slaughtered family should be on display. No one should have to say a word. That should ensure his residence in the worst prison for the rest of his miserable life!

My step father marked the tires (of the 2nd car) when we were younger because he knew my older brother would take the car when my step dad and mom would go out dancing on Saturday night, the odometer wasn't working that's why he couldn't check the miles.

My best friend had to go to court every 9-12 months because of the person who murdered her youngest 13 yr old daughter! The killer was her nephew who just so happened to live in her home!!! It was horrible to watch as her friend. Her pain was unimaginable!!! She is now reunited with her daughter, and greatly missed! After 12 years or so he gave up on getting his life sentence overturned. I was there that day in court with her and I legit could see the weight lift from her body!!! She would always say that the killers have more rights than their victims!!! Having to go through that night over and over.... Something no mother in the world should have to go through!!!

The bigger danger is his being released with a new identity which tends to happen, and heaven help the next poor person. As always, we'll researched and compassionately delivered. Have a great week.

I really wish we taught high schoolers *several* courses about intimate partner violence over their school years and how dangerous and life threatening a partner is who chokes you or someone else. It's such a high high marker for "you will probably be killed by this person" that as soon as you said he choked the children I knew that's how they would die. Poor babies.

Really wish there was a TON more education about that as well! Kids, adults, young teens, alike! So that ppl are educated about how the cycles of abuse work & how to watch out for them & see 🚩& how to make a safety plan to get away or even be a back up plan if u can't bring yourself to end it yet. But I imagine education about these topics that's taken seriously could ONLY benefit the victims! The victims being the spouse\partner suffering & the Innocent kids caught in the middle. Also, yes I sat spouse\partner & not women bc this doesn't just happen to women but there's cases of women who do the same crap altho their mechanism is slightly diff I feel like. Regardless, too many ppl who have never been in those situations or suffered or just been a witness, are completely unprepared for how those cycles start & work! & Others who have been conditioned or 🧠 washed in those cycles & never learned any different think it's normal & how it SHOULD be in a relationship. So, education ALL AROUND!

A whole-life tariff is quite rare, but recently our Judges do seem to be handing down longer minimum terms Thomas Cashman who killed a 9-year-old girl Oliva Pratt Corbell whilst trying to take out another low life, has just been given a minimum term of 42 years. I’m only half way through and so frustrated. Mothers, your first and number 1 priority is to keep your children safe. I know too many woman who make a big fuss, saying they’re going to leave their pos partner..just to turn around and go right back, children in tow, only to repeat this toxic cycle over and over again. It’s DAMAGING for children. And in this case, I know if those children told their grandparents about the choking and beating so easily, that their mother more than likely knew beforehand. It’s sad that her babies lost their lives because she couldn’t bring herself to leave this monster.

    • @Amber-yq9ee
      @Amber-yq9ee Год назад +1

We actually don't know that. The reason they told their Grandmother was due to her getting on to the little boy. & Maybe the Dad said do NOT tell your Mother. Or perhaps since his shift was always at night, he was always lurking to make sure. But I do feel if they were given a good "hiding" there'd have been marks on their butt & legs. So likely Mom saw those but maybe had no clue about the choking. We must also remember the time this happened in & that there's a very diff mindset about spanking & also leaving your spouse. Plus, I won't judge Claire too harshly bc she DID take it seriously & seriously enough that he had to go get help for himself & did "get better" which we know was for sure an act but he obviously did learn to control himself better for longer times & likely if he DID have an outburst he'd ⛽💡 her into staying bc he was so "OBVIOUSLY working hard on himself & he wasn't perfect but he was getting better & trying!" It would've been nice if things had been different & she'd been encouraged to leave him WHILE he worked on himself so the kids were safe during that time but again... Times were different even tho it seems it was "recent", it wasn't. 20y can change the way ppl see those situations & culturally things can be very different. Then you have to figure in the way that guys like this abusive POS operate. He'd been conditioning her for YEARS & that's what all the "You're fat!" Crap was. It was him beating in her head everyday, all day likely that she was NOTHING! She was worked & would be a Fat, Divorced, Stay at Home Mom of 2 kids who couldn't Even work to support herself! What would she do w\o him? She'd concern their kids to a hellhole where it would be them starving w
othing. & I'm INTIMATELY familiar w\how that can work, not bc I've been an abused woman but bc my entire childhood was living in JUST THAT ENVIRONMENT! It was a war zone & it took my Mom so long to leave & get out of those relationships. She was still dysfunctional & had major issues & PTSD when she did leave & those issues she never got help for. It sounds like Claire was on a MUCH better path & likely would've had her family free in those next few wks or months. She had started working & working out or dieting & growing her confidence, etc. So yes it's very sad that she was in that environment w\her kids, I just think you're judging her too harshly. & Ultimately, she paid way too high a price for her mistakes in my opinion. It just breaks my heart.

✨To my sweet Sommer, and all my Sommer sista's out there:
Thank you so much for this awesome channel with these fabulous followers!👯 We are a respectful, inquisitive, and empathetic bunch💐 And we have Sommer to thank for laying that foundation in each of her true crime episodes🙏 These cases are extremely sad, but offer valuable insight we can learn from to better protect ourselves and one another. Personally, I watch these cases partly because their stories should not close with their deaths, and partly because better preventative measures can be implemented to prevent this from happening to other potential victim(s). Sommer, you are exceptionally bright, and thought provoking🫶 I remember watching your first video right when you started. Afterwards, I thought to myself "Oh wow! She's like a total breath of fresh air." Side note: I actually watched a documentary last week that focused on David Koresh and The Branch Davidians, as well as Jim Jones and The Jonestown Massacre. Right in the middle of the documentary, your face flashed in my mind (hehehe 😆). If that doesn't prove the strength of your "brand" (your "brand" being your channel, with the majority of your content covering cults or cult-like true crime cases), then I don't know what does! What in the actual HELL??! Life SHOULD mean life! He took 3 precious lives, and he should NEVER be released back into society! He SHOULD rot away in prison until he takes his last breath.
Hearing about this case makes me think back to when I was a little girl, and witnessing my dad beat the living crap out of my mom, because he was a very violent alcoholic and drug user. He even threatened to kill us (my younger sister and myself) in front of our mom, then kill my mom, then himself.
The last and final straw was him setting my mom’s upper right arm on fire on July 4th of 1978. She fled from him, taking us along, on what would’ve been their 9th anniversary.
We left soon after my dad left for work, and we could only take what we could carry; everything else had to stay behind. We had to be very, very, very quiet, so we didn’t wake up our great-grandma.
I truly hope that this demonic creature NEVER is released from prison.

@mcnallica8 Thank you, my friend, for taking the time to read and respond to my comment.
My paternal grandpa offered to pay for my dad to go to rehab, and pay for him to seek help with his anger issues, but he refused. This was on Christmas Day in 1978. He was a fool, an idiot, and he lost a phenomenal wife and mother to his 2 daughters.
He had to go to prison for him to straighten himself out. So, I didn’t see, or talk to, him from June of 1980 to June of 2008. He had a pretty bad medical scare on December 9th of last year, and he had to be put into a semi-medically induced coma to help save his life. He married a beautiful, amazing, very loving, and sweet young woman, and she saved his life by telling him that he wasn’t going to go home until the doctors found out why he was pooping blood, so he owes her quite a bit.
He never got the chance to apologize to my mom for abusing her, in every way imaginable, for the 9 years that they were married, because she passed away on July 3rd of 1997.
I apologize for boring you. Please take care, my friend, and I hope that you, and your family has a very wonderful, relaxing, peaceful, safe and beautiful weekend. I hope that you don’t mind that I had subbed to you.

@@toniremer1594 You are not boring me whatever. Im sorry about your mom. Im glad your dad is doing better. I went through 2 divorces myself. I finally after almost 30 years of fighting with the VA just recently got 60% disabled rating. Before that I had a huge pill problem (opiates) I met an amazing woman who is 5 years older than me and she is the first woman I have been with that is older than me (best thing ive ever done) She helped me get clean about 9 years and 2 months ago and I have almost 10 years of no alcohol. Thank you for subscribing to me. sorry for the long story too. Speaking to others even strangers help us mentally and it's healthy. Semper Fi, Jeff

    Dear lady, that was enough!!
So much detail, and input about things I have never heard of 😬. That was equivalent to taking a drink from a fire hose. You really do research these subjects. Thank you for being so thorough. It's absolutely spellbinding with your very calm and measured delivery. I haven't paid attention to such difficult input of info since I went to see the movie, "Ghandi", back in the early '80's 😮.
You truly have a talent for this. Count me in as a new subscriber, after only two videos 👍🏽

I wish she had not forgiven him when he could not be bothered to complete the anger management course. He had been strangling his children and beating them but could not be bothered to finish the course but she stayed and let him be alone with the kids again?! I know we tend to look for the best in our partners but that was minimum effort. Also that there was such a huge gap between killing claire and then his kids..and his drugging the kids... shows premeditation and so he should never be free. I like that you call his bs out. Hes a pathetic controlling man. I honestly dont care how prisoners behave in prison. What they did to get them in there should be enough to keep them there.

What does house behavior have to do with anything? It was his behavior that got him a prison sentence to begin with. His behavior can change at will-he’s dangerous. These ridiculous prison sentences are an insult to the victims and their families. He murders 3 people and they take into consideration his behavior in prison. Now that’s a kind of stupidity I can’t even wrap my head around.

I never countenanced being grateful for a trigger warning. I abso-bloomin’-lootley cringed when learning this horrible man inflicted God-only-knows what cruelties on animals. Innocent, trusting creatures that ask only care and safety in return for their loving companionship can never comprehend pain purposely done, never. Animals and children are hostages of fate. I’ll come around for the next case.

Would love to hear the justification for concurrent sentences, giving him consecutive would have ensured life in prison. It can't be argued that they were a continuous act, and he hid from the police showing no remorse.
As of June 11 I still cannot find any information on release or transfer, so that is good news at least.

I watched this on some crime show a long time ago. I remember there was a psychologist or something commenting on the actions of him and she made a comment that at the wedding he seemed “awkward” and “didn’t know what to do while making a speech so obviously it was a red flag” (I’m obviously paraphrasing) and I definitely disagreed with that. Not everyone is a fantastic public speaker and I personally would be the same way. What I do think is telling about the wedding is that no one showed up for him, which I’m glad you mentioned that portion instead of the awkwardness of him at the wedding.
