Just sharing my trading day here...did three trades for the day 1) shorted nifty at the first 2 red candles with a lot to give money to the market and validate the trend for the day 2) As soon as nifty started rallying, i went long with full size exiting the short and rode that till 24k profit . When things started to reverse, i became skeptical and trailed my sl to entry and exited the trade at cost 3) since nifty reversed, i planned a reversal trade hoping it would cover the gap and it flucuated a while and i sensed the decay and booked the day at -2.5k. Disappointing trend for sure but not a day to go big....
Subscribed! bro keep your head up. we all need to build good habits in the market that's the part I am working on too. I have been trading for 3 years and from experience I tell you I mostly avoid trading in the last week of dec until new year If I have too I only take really small positions. there is no reason to believe any technical breakout or pattern in this week until 6jan. People who are participating right now is mostly small players and predicting their behaviour is hard It's better to wait for the market makers to come after holidays and then the move whatever side it will come its most likely sustain. I commented this on one of your last video too about look at the volume it's getting lower and lower. One thing that big players can't manipulate easily is volume yes they can manipulate price but it's hard to manipulate volume.
In your case one thing you should strictly follow is Only buy itm option that way your qty will also be controlled as itm option are costly. Your analysis is good . Just try following this one rule and see the difference

The issue is that you did not managed your risk. After having earned a good profit, it's your money and not the house money. You treated that as on the house money, however it was yours, once booked. If you are loosing a major portion of your profit earned, then you are not eventually managing risk well. Thumb rule is don't lose major chunk of your profits in subsequent trades, then only odds of probability will work in your favour

Be consistent for a month and see the change.. One more reason for the big loss is the sudden spikes in OTMs that comes some day also you can't expect it everyday. One thing don't trade in sensex premiums will melt.sensex is only for option sellers.in 4 expiries only one expiry will get for option buyers.observe the call and put charts both of them will melt I also lost huge amount in sensex

I started in 2022 as a swing/positional trader in cash and futures, 8 months for learning then in next 1 year got 70% roi with lot of mistakes in setup selection and psychology but then i learnt about “my own mathematics” of trading. About avg win, avg loss, hit rate, trading expectancy etc. it really helped me to improve. Still a long way to go.
