Thank you for your review and comparison. I don't have the older version so I was curious about this repackaged version. I did test it in the store by spraying it on my skin and after several minutes the scent got really faint on my skin, so I am passing on this one. Cotton Candy Clouds smells like a very watered down version of Aquolina Pink Sugar EDT.
I use the lotion for cotton candy cloud (the repackaged one)and mix it with Pink Sugar.....the smell is DIVINE!!! They compliment each other so well and the lotion gives Pink Sugar a beautiful creamy whipped vanilla base.
I'm sure your right. Also it use to be called Boardwalk Taffy and it smelled better than the newest Cotton Candy clouds. I kinda smelled a alcohol smell this time too
I have both of them, I also like the 2022 package better too, the 2023 package is more based off of boardwalk beachy vibes so that’s why it looks like that. Mine both smell pretty much the same tho, I’m not sure why they would wanna make them smell different if they are the same fragrance with the same notes.
I still have the original version they came out with called boardwalk taffy and that version is so good. Cotton candy clouds seems a little weaker but the version whipped berry meringue is very close to the original boardwalk taffy which is now cotton candy clouds. It seems like every year they come out with a repackage the scent gets more and more watered down.
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it! The bath products industry should take pointers from the fragrance community, and release flankers, or different versions of original scents, without discontinuing them. They could do 10 different types off an OG vanilla fragrance and keep everyone happy. And don’t even get me started on the layering game! 😂
The blue new packaging, looks like old 90s designs in Taco Bell lol… the red and white swirly circle reminds me of a candy mint. I agree, the purple packaging is way better!

I still feel the older version is stronger however I still like the new version as well and keep in mind my older version been sitting 9 months to a year. I think you will enjoy the new version.😊

I didn’t know they came out with a repackage! This is my daughter’s favorite one 😢 I hope she doesn’t notice the difference
