But I respect and appreciate his decisions🥺. Its uncommon for vtubers to have then off. But I do be watching archive when supacha was on and feel like “wow look at this once in a life moment “. I have always wondered why he doesn’t turn on superchats, i dnt really know much about him. Is he like from a wealthy family? Or does he have another job thats good paying? Is he already wealthy to begin with? The cost of living in Japan is so so expensive.
Mayuzumi rarely turned on his SC because he said he made enough from the merchandises and voice packs. Tbh buying merch and vp is the best way to support vtubers, usually talents only receive like roughly 30% from SCs (anything else goes to the agency, youtube fee, and taxes) which i think is the case for most vtubers but the actual percentage may differ from one agency to another
I think at some point he mentioned that he doesn't need others to spend money on him like that especially when youtube takes a cut of it. He said that he makes enough money off his voice pack sales- and that a superchat normally takes up 3-4 lines in the chatbox and it annoys him HAHA
