Dude I gotta thank you for this. I had watched your video, and was kind of messing around on a slow morning on some private land I haven't hunted in a long time. Birds weren't gobbling very well, and I didn't have a whole lot of confidence in striking a bird. Weather has been wierd and they just shut up. But anyway, I had practiced at home and after a short yelping sequence I just thought hell with it and fired off a gobble. A Tom fired back, a long way off, and I gobbled again. He cut me off with a double gobble, this time sounding like he had covered about half the distance. I didn't make another sound and neither did he. He crossed a small field in front of me at a dead run, and I shot him at four steps, basically in self defense. I have no idea what I said to that turkey in his own language, but it pissed him off some kinda bad. 25 lbs, 11 1/4 inch beard with 1 1/4 spurs on both legs. One of my biggest, and I just wanna say thanks for the tutorial bud. I never could have done it if I hadn't watched your video. Good luck this season.
Appreciate you sharing that with me! Thanks! My family has land upstate NY, above Utica in the Tug Hill area. Lots of turkey but I swear they don't gobble much as well. Good luck!
thank you so much for the info on this, I've been wondering how to make the gobble for a long time an I have always tried to shake my head back and forth really fast but it didn't work lol. but now this really helps thank you so much Jase Outdoors
Ive watched many of these gobbling diaphram video,s and this is the only one that worked for me. i live in adirondack new york and the turkeys dont like to gobble up here because of the predetors but i went around gobbling here and there and now they dont shut up
I haven't found a latex call that I can depend on being consistent. Regardless the reed, like a Co2 pellet gun they go downhill w/every shot. I've considered different material. Do you make your calls?
I did this turkey hunting and I am 13. It brought in a 20-30 pound Tom, unfortunately I couldn't get a shot but that's why they have next year. And do u really do a horse nae ?
So I’m new to this just bought a mouth call and none of my calls are sounding like the guys on here and like I’ve Watch a bunch of videos how to blow a car but a man hard I try I really can’t I got one of the latex one so idk how to do it
Let's hear your mouth call basics. We've heard Sean's. Lol you and I call similar. Talk about brands and break in. Woodhaven has the longest break in ever. I prefer the mad or primos. Haven't tried zink yet
Glock Nope! Not yet. Starts next week in Pa. leaving for Ohio tomorrow but it's a public land hunt and can be challenging....so who knows. Good luck to you bro!
@@JaseOutdoors I tried to teach myself a new calling type and he said it sounded better than some people on Tv and he wasn’t saying it to be nice because a year ago he would just keep saying to try harder
Skyler Daniels I just slide the call back slightly farther than I would when makin yelps. That's why there's a pause from yelping to the gobble because I have to reposition the call. But try different things and calls because everyone is different
why would ppl give this a thumbs down? that's some very good calling. I was impressed by the gobble too.
Chris Holifield Thanks Chris
Chris Holifield I agree. I found it pretty useful as I'm just starting to try and master the mouth calls. I've always used a box caller.

Jase Outdoors cool! Is season not in there? Haven't seen many vids this year lol
Glock Nope! Not yet. Starts next week in Pa. leaving for Ohio tomorrow but it's a public land hunt and can be challenging....so who knows. Good luck to you bro!
Jase Outdoors good luck brother. 1 down in KY. 12" rope 1 1/2 hooks. Been cold everyday since. Really shut them down.

I think you need a specific call because I am using an he strut and it does not work
+Venture Out they work you just have to mess with them, I can gobble on any of them
The gobble is impossible to do lol. I sound like a dying rooster.
Haha, keep practicing!
Haha I can’t get it and my dad is dying laughing
🤣 that's pretty funny! Haha keep at it
@@JaseOutdoors I tried to teach myself a new calling type and he said it sounded better than some people on Tv and he wasn’t saying it to be nice because a year ago he would just keep saying to try harder
It had an 11 or 12 inch beard :)
I can't even get a sound out of my call
turn the call around
How far does it go in your mouth
Skyler Daniels I just slide the call back slightly farther than I would when makin yelps. That's why there's a pause from yelping to the gobble because I have to reposition the call. But try different things and calls because everyone is different
Jase outdoors thank you very much for the info
