This is still so fresh. I saw him in Portland and Boston performing music from this album. It was a musical highlight. It still makes me ecstatic to listen to this again, 4 years later. London Jazz is truly happening and Soweto is a big contributor.
Soweto can I give the Song, We are the World and you know how it goes can you give your version over to Jason Dormon at the Forum in Tunbridge Wells and Kofi Agorsor at Agorsor Studio in Accra, Ghana so we can make a Christmas Song with AfroCaribbean and Brits getting involved...This is not for charity so do it for free...and we'll see! Much love Artist.
Hopefully Tim Weller is drumming but also Kwame Bakoji-Hume and his Ghana Drum Group, Joel Nankin with his Steel Drums and Talvin Singh with his Tabla....and Joel's daughter from the Caribbean is a great violinist...and the Choir Master is Stephen Woods...Incredible guy for Groombridge, nr. Royal Tunbridge Wells...We have a lot of people wanting to support and have Studios in TW and Accra so can mix and are file sharing so if interested send you version of "WE ARE THE WORLD" for Stephen to work out the CHOIR...Cheers Big Ears. X
Yeah, the parts that are extremely electronic and can't be made with instruments. I don't really understand what you're saying. Are you a crusty old jazz nazi or something?
