35st Sw Fire

RRFR's 1st Battalion responded to a structure fire west of the City. This area is automatic aid into Sandoval County. Travel time is about 12 minutes. There are no hydrants and the closest water source is about 3 miles away. Water tenders were ordered from SCFD but later canceled.
First arriving engine company declared an offensive fire attack. The fire self-vented near the "Charlie" side at or after the initial attack.
The house used solar power and propane. Approx 3000 sq ft
No injuries - cause unknown.

This was caused by a propane water heater that caught fire .
