I disagree with Barty Crouch Jr being on this list, sure he was by far the most devious Death Eater but that is not an indication of his magical power. I think Corban Yaxley was better fitted for that spot. Crouch Jr should've been either should have replaced Greyback (who wasn't an official Death Eater anyways) or been just behind him in sixth spot
Nice video, although there is an error at about 4:20 about Bellatrix Lestrange, she wasn't from the Lestrange family, she got that name when married to Rodolphus Lestrange, she was born into the Black family!
If we judge by achievements, Barty Crouch Jr. is probably the most efficient Death Eater. He was the only one who managed to capture and take Harry to Voldemort, making the re-born of this master possible. He was able to escape Azkaban, break the rule of the Imperius curse, take out Mad-eye Moody, and most of all, he was able to deceive Dumbledore for an entire year. His plan was masterful, he made a great impersonation of Moody and he was perfectly able to improvize and keep the situation under control, even if unexpected coincidences threatened his plans (like his father showing up, or Harry having the Marauder's map). If not for his last mistake after the tournament, he would have remained the most dangerous servant of Voldemort.

Harry Potter Theory I really liked that you put snape at the number 1 spot because in the movie they portray him as he is not that powerful even though he is
Barty Crouch Jr should be at the top of the list. This guy spent years in Azkaban before he escaped, only to them spend over a decade under the impervious curse. Years that should have weakened his power immensely. Yet still he was able to defeat Mad Eye, who was considered one of the greatest Aurora of all time. He was able fool Dumbledore, arguably the most powerful wizard, who had long been friends with Mad Eye. Nice to hear the Bellatrix part. Minerva is pwoerful, but people overestimate her. She has been, for too long, just a teacher. Unlike all others (including Dumbledore, who was never just a teacher). You become rusty with time.
@John Tuya Probably. She is a fighter. Was never anything besides that. All other major female characters are very far from that reality. Can she perform everything Minerva can? Absolutely not. But she is harder.
Bellatrix- Defeated Kingsley, and Tonks in the same fight, blocked a spell from Dumbledore, dueled a 1v3 against some of the best students at hogwarts without her original wand, and was stated by Voldemort to be the lieutenant of his army. She should very clearly be first. Snape has done nothing, he is smart, and he stalemated Minerva. That is it, and don’t even try to say stalemating Minerva is a credible feat because Minerva only has hype. Her feat against Voldemort was only accomplished with the help of two others and even then they were protected by Harry’s sacrificial protection. Snape has no feat on Bella’s level, and neither does McGonagall.
@@katherinerachel8011 fooling someone isn’t a dueling feat. Minerva has no feat even close to deflecting a spell from Dumbledore. Snape isn’t even close to Bella’s level by feats.
@@rashrasha921 I mean, Bellatrix defeating Kingsley doesn't mean that much in the long run, considering Kingsley held his own against Voldemort (Yes, against Voldemort), during the battles in the sky, while even protecting Hermione (And he did protect Tonks as well in the Ministry). This means Kingsley was even holding back during those 2 instances, since he cannot all out attack and protect someone at the same time.
@@nickdentoom1173 yes and bellatrix defeated him with what seemed to be relative ease in the book (judging by how the fight consisted of the engaging in a duel and kingsley leaving the fight screaming in pain with nothing else of note occurring). bellatrix is written to be canonically above him. additionally bellatrix is the only person other than voldemort himself to block a spell from dumbledore….that speaks for itself
In the Minerva McGonagall vs Severus Snape duel, it's Snape that kills the two deatheaters stood behind him, he deflects Mcgonagalls spell straight at them.
The Harry Potter game was rumored to be shown at E3 but E3 was cancelled so possibly the top 5 or 10 things like creatures or just anything that will be in the Harry Potter game or what you want to be in the game, it's not really a Harry Potter game but more of a video game installment in the Harry Potter Universe
Bella Tricks Le Strange - quite a strange name... She did trick Rodolphus Le Strange and had an affair with Voldemort. Rodolphus was quite strange to have never protested... That's why perhaps, he is a LeStrange.
I used to HATE snape because he wasn’t very nice to the golden trio and basically all griffindors. But when I saw the memory I thought of snape as the bravest character in the series and I thought of him as a hero.
Barry crouch is such a powerful and to say the least underrated wizard he was actually the first one to break out of askaban by faking his death taking out moody with help by another underated wizard peter petigrew and not to mention was able to put the dark mark in the sky and also successfully proformed all 3 unforgivable curses not only on the helpless spider but on humans tortured long bottoms with crusio used imperio curse of Victor Crum to take out flur and attack Cedric and also killing curse on his father also bewitching the quidditch cup Barty is actually a very powerful wizard
Does anyone else think it is weird how much Greyback seemed to be built up to be a high up death eater in HBP (movie), being one of the few brought into the castle through the vanishing cabinet. Yet then, in part 1 of deathly hallows he is just with a gang of snatchers and not even in charge? Like that other dude is ordering them all around 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
I had a short moment of 'umm- well... I mean... myeah, ok, fine, I'll take it.' once #1 got announced. If we count him amongst the death eaters then he does deserve that spot, yes.
@Philip Manousakis Wormtail is so underrated, but he sacrifices his hand, kills 13 MUGGLES WITH ONE SPELL, Animagus (SO MANY PEOPLE CAN'T ACCOMPLISH THIS!!) and so much more!
@@minttt_ But the fact that he did become a animagus is amazing, usually when people become animaguses, they will be heavily watched by the ministry, so the ministry is like the Marauders in this case. Besides, people who become animaguses must have a lot of skill.
If wormtail is fourth and snape is actually a good person and barty gets the dementors kiss just after voldemort revives , then Bellatrix was the only one who was a strong member in voldemort's whole army because the book clearly specifies that all the other marauders were very strong compared to wormtail and there were at least 15 wizards in the order of Phoenix whose power were at least comparable to the marauders if not more than them
Where's Petter Petigrew aka Wormtail? I would put him at him at least 3 or 4 as he was an official Death Eater! He did play a huge apart in the resurrection of Voldemort! He managed to become an Animagus, which is not easy to do at all, he managed to frame Sirius for the betrayal which lead to the murders of James and Lilly Potter. He also managed to convince the Wizard World that he was dead for 12 years. Furthermore he managed to locate Voldemort which no else did! Him being a coward does not make him a crappy wizard.
He isn't powerful. And he wasn't loyal to voldemort. He was a death eater due to fear. Fear of dying. Hell, if Harry had the chance to duel him, he would easily beat him.
Yemi Babatunde he also killed 12 muggles in an explosion whilst framing Sirius, and he’s constantly ove looked, I have the goblet of fire top trumps and he has lower magic than ARGUS FILCH the sgwib.
@@minttt_ Lucius was also a death eater due to fear and wasn't loyal. How do we know Harry would beat him so easily in a duel? I definitely put him above Greyback and Antonin Dolohov in terms of achievements. I agree he is a coward but it doesn't make him a weak wizard. What has Greyback and Dolohov achieved? That makes them more powerful than Wormtail?
Fenrir wasn’t a death eater and I would’ve put nagini in there, also don’t agree with your #1 snape wasn’t fully committed to being a death eater he joined because he thought that’s where he fit in soon as the opportunity came he switched sides for love, death eater switch sides for love? And that’s the most powerful one? Don’t think so.
Snape had the Dark Mark so he qualifies as a Death Eater. Snape was fascinated by the Dark Arts from an early age; the reason for being hated by the likes of James Potter. He was a committed Death Eater until he realized that Voldemort was after the Potters and killed Lily. That's when he acted as a spy for Dumbledore, at a great personal risk. You're underestimating Snape. He's a master Occlumens and Legilimens. He was able to trick Voldemort into thinking that he was loyal to him. Let's not forget that Voldemort was one of the greatest Legilimens himself. Voldemort regarded him as one of his most loyal followers. Snape mentions this in his conversation with Narcissa and Bellatrix that he knew Voldemort's plans which he doesn't normally share with his followers. He was an expert when it comes to Potion making, brewing many difficult potions. He also invented many spells like Sectumsempra, which is one of the most dangerous spells. When George's ear was cut off by Sectumsempra, Molly wasn't able to regrow it despite her efforts. Yet, when Harry nearly killed Draco with the same spell, Snape was able to save his life and heal his wounds. This just shows his knowledge in spells. As a wizard, he was only behind the likes of Dumbledore and Voldemort. All this by the age of 38. If he lived as long as Dumbledore, we can only imagine how powerful he would become with the years of experience and knowledge.
Guys... He was able to become an animagus and he brought Voldemort back pretty much all by himself. He was also able to blow up an entire street with his wand behind his back.
As greyback isn't an death eater.. i would say .. Yaxley...Malfoy and the carrows was all known for their skills with a wand! I think they deserve to be on the list tbh! And regulas Black was ment to be voldemorts faithful death eater thats why regulas knew he could betray him as volemort would never aspect it xx
If fenrir greyback can make it than so can Dolores flippin Umbridge Everyone who read the book knows she didn’t need no fuckin mark to do the dark lords bidding
"She wasent takeing it seriously" Did you miss the part in the books saying that she stoped laughing and started duelining seriously vs molly? Belatrix is the most faithful death eater yes. But she wasent as powerful as u are makeing her up to be. She is not even close to the top 4 most powerful wizards. Most of the teacher at hogwarts was more powerful then her.
@@n1s2e Its indeed BS, especially if you take books into consideration (Since then you get Dolohov, Shacklebolt , Flitwick, Slughorn and McGonagall as well who are all more powerful than Bellatrix).
Ik this is old but If we're going by the books then most powerful in terms of magic would have to be bellatrix. Its stated somewhere that its likely she could have reached voldemort level of power given time, and was described as fffaaaaaar more poweful in general in the books than in the movies
I’m just now realizing that Lupin could’ve been saved had they killed or at least did a better job and taking Dolohov out of the conflict.. they wiped his memory and he somehow got it back later..
I THINK Regulus Arcturus black( RAB)SHOULD BE IN TOP 5 BECAUSE HE WAS THE FIRST MAN WHO KHOWN ABOUT THE SLYTHERIN LOCATE WAS A HORCRUX AND THE BEST STUDENT OF HOGWARTS AND IN THE YEAR OF 16 VOLDEMORT SORTED HIM AS A DEATH EATER
I'm not sure we see Snape FLY in the movie. Certainly he disaperates and goes through the stain glass window, but we see several others in "Deathly Hollows" do the same thing.
6:18 snape and Voldemort aren’t the only ones who can fly, the death eaters and Auroras during the battle in the department of mysteries can all fly as well as the death eaters at the start of the half blood prince
Can someone explain the flying thing? I mean in the movies we see a lot of of deatheaters and good guys fly right so what is meant by Severus and Voldemort beeing the only ones able to fly?
Snape Bellatrix Malfoy ( he was effectively in command when voldemort wasn't present until the ministry fiasco and losing favour) Dolohov The rest are up for debate but one thing for sure is it's not greyback. even if he was a death eater at no point in the books is it made clear that he's a powerful wizard. Just a crazy man who likes to turn kids into werewolves and torture people.
Snape was never a Death Eater, he was a double agent for Dumbledore. He was also in the Order, so if we are talking Death Eaters Bellatrix Lestrange would be the most powerful Death Eater.
Vault Entertainment Corp He might have been looked at as a Death Eater, but to become a real offical Death Eater you have to have the dark mark. It’s simple, Death Eaters eliminate the muggles for sport. Snape never wanted to eliminate them, and probably one of the soul reasons that was, was because he loved Lily Evans/Potter. She was a mud blood.

Don’t forget that Snape managed to successfully trick Voldemort as well as keep him from penetrating his mind
Snape stalemated Minerva without trying much. He just didn't want to harm Minerva.
Plus, Snape fooled everyone including Bellatrix.
I knew that Severus Snape would be the strongest and Bellatrix lestrange would be second powerful.
Bellatrix is actually from the Black family😅😅😅
2:07 I always thought this was LeStrange lol
Snape is the best teacher. And I love ur vids. :D
Antonin Dolohov also killed Gideon and Fabian Prewett who were Molly Weasleys brothers.
I used to HATE snape because he wasn’t very nice to the golden trio and basically all griffindors. But when I saw the memory I thought of snape as the bravest character in the series and I thought of him as a hero.
Does Snape even count as a Death Eater when...
Voldy found out?
My ranking:
5) Dolohov
4) Wormtail
3) Bellatrix
2) Barty Jr
1) Severus Snape
@Philip Manousakis Wormtail is so underrated, but he sacrifices his hand, kills 13 MUGGLES WITH ONE SPELL, Animagus (SO MANY PEOPLE CAN'T ACCOMPLISH THIS!!) and so much more!
@@johnpurser2670 The only reason why he became a animagus is because of the Marauders. Otherwise he wouldn't
@@minttt_ But the fact that he did become a animagus is amazing, usually when people become animaguses, they will be heavily watched by the ministry, so the ministry is like the Marauders in this case. Besides, people who become animaguses must have a lot of skill.
If wormtail is fourth and snape is actually a good person and barty gets the dementors kiss just after voldemort revives , then Bellatrix was the only one who was a strong member in voldemort's whole army because the book clearly specifies that all the other marauders were very strong compared to wormtail and there were at least 15 wizards in the order of Phoenix whose power were at least comparable to the marauders if not more than them
Philip Manousakis Wormtail is much more powerful than what people give him credit for
What if snape had the elder wand.
5.Peter Pettigrew
4.Antonin Dolohov
3.Barty Crouch Jr
2.Bellatrix Lestrange
1.Severus Snape
@@ChattinBoxingWYB Antonio Dolohov was considered to be one of the most powerful dark wizards. He mastered every area of magic.
Minty Did he find and help resurrect Voldemort? As a Death Eater what are his achievements?
4:23 bellatrix did not come from the lestrange family, she married into it
Jingle Bells
Lots of spells
The trio runs away
Voldy dies
Bella cries
Hogwarts all the way
Hey!
Lol
Wow...... From where did u copied that!??
"I must not tell lies" - Dolores Umbridge
Happy?
Bellatrix Lestrange no because I’m stuck in Azkaban, WiFi’s great thou. WiFi at hell must be decent as well then?
excuse me can you explain why wormtail is in honourable mentions?
My Top 5
1.Severus Snape
2.Bellatrix Lestrange
3.Antonin Dolahov
4.Barty Crouch Jr
5.Peter Pettigrew
Do top 10 most worst wizards in Hogwarts history
Eclipse 5O1 bad at magic or worst as in evil
Actually I would have loved to see Mcgonagall vs. Bellatrix
Um. Peter Pettigrew? You sure?
PaperLuigi99 dude Peter Pettigrew was a terrible wizard, and he was very bad at magic.
@@fireball6444 I know. That's why I disagreed that he should be given an honorable mention.
PaperLuigi99 He was not given an honorable mention. What do you mean
@@fireball6444 7:01
Don't forget Rookwood, who held his own against Kingsley (Who held his own against Voldemort during the Battles in the sky while protecting Hermione).
Shouldnt make videos if you don't know the actual background of characters 🤷🏽😴😴
Yesssss loved the list tho I wouldn't count Greyback but other than him love the list bro
Is this the same guy as in the Star Wars theory and if yes is he using a British accent cause he sounds different here.
Where is lucius malfoy
If fenrir greyback can make it than so can Dolores flippin Umbridge Everyone who read the book knows she didn’t need no fuckin mark to do the dark lords bidding
"She wasent takeing it seriously" Did you miss the part in the books saying that she stoped laughing and started duelining seriously vs molly? Belatrix is the most faithful death eater yes. But she wasent as powerful as u are makeing her up to be. She is not even close to the top 4 most powerful wizards. Most of the teacher at hogwarts was more powerful then her.
jonteozzy he’s talking about the movies not books if we were talking about the books then it’s a complete different movie
@@elvingomezperez1864 same thing in the movies do
Well she was trained by the Dark Lord himself, I mean... she is definitely more powerful than Crouch and Fenrir. Dolohov is above her for sure tho.
@@drruid7645 Yeah he is one of the best. I am just saying he said "the only one more powerful then her is Dumbledore,Voldemort and snape. And thats bs
@@n1s2e Its indeed BS, especially if you take books into consideration (Since then you get Dolohov, Shacklebolt , Flitwick, Slughorn and McGonagall as well who are all more powerful than Bellatrix).
Ik this is old but
If we're going by the books then most powerful in terms of magic would have to be bellatrix. Its stated somewhere that its likely she could have reached voldemort level of power given time, and was described as fffaaaaaar more poweful in general in the books than in the movies
snape could fly?? is he referring to when death eaters do that black thingy bc others could do that
Read the books. ;)
Snape could fly without a broom like Voldemort. Its very rare.
actually Delphi (voldy's daughter) was able to learn to fly as well
We don't talk about that....😳🤐😔
Greyback so epic and cool.
@Maria Samhoun yeah me to but he looks so cool.
I’m just now realizing that Lupin could’ve been saved had they killed or at least did a better job and taking Dolohov out of the conflict.. they wiped his memory and he somehow got it back later..
Snape is a good guy
3:15 wasnt sirius black the first?
5.barty crouch Jr 4. Severs Snape 3. Fenrer gray back 2. Dolloholf 1. Regiles black
Snape is more powerful than all of them. Regulas is never said to have been powerful
dont do barty like that 😭
awesome vid
Wasn’t Sirius the first to break out of Azkaban? Or am I missing something... 🧐
You're missing something. Crouch Jr. escaped over 10 years prior. It just wasn't known about.
I think is Lucius have to be in this list cuz he is rich, he are from big family,he was one of good deaths eateries...I think
I'm not sure we see Snape FLY in the movie. Certainly he disaperates and goes through the stain glass window, but we see several others in "Deathly Hollows" do the same thing.
with this list i agree.
6:18 snape and Voldemort aren’t the only ones who can fly, the death eaters and Auroras during the battle in the department of mysteries can all fly as well as the death eaters at the start of the half blood prince
This is quite late, but thats just the movies, in the book canon only Snape and Voldemort have the ability of flight without using a broom.
@@Yenix4 I see, I only read a couple of the books
Where is malphoy and R.A.B
My list
5.fenrir greyback
4.barty crouch jr
3.bellatrix
2.dolohov
1.snape
Can someone explain the flying thing? I mean in the movies we see a lot of of deatheaters and good guys fly right so what is meant by Severus and Voldemort beeing the only ones able to fly?
Greyback not being a Death Eater should make him not eligible for this list imo tbh
Where did werewolves go to be educated? And how did they get wands?
Bellatrix came from the Black Family she took the name lestrange
In no way what so ever does Peter rat man deserve an honourable mention with anything to do with power
You should watch your own video in which you explainef that fenrir greyback was not a death Eater.
Snape’s Face 😂
6:10
Snape
Bellatrix
Malfoy ( he was effectively in command when voldemort wasn't present until the ministry fiasco and losing favour)
Dolohov
The rest are up for debate but one thing for sure is it's not greyback. even if he was a death eater at no point in the books is it made clear that he's a powerful wizard. Just a crazy man who likes to turn kids into werewolves and torture people.
Well Barty Jr has done amazing things aswell, for me personally he is up there but i like your choices
Didn't Sirius black escape from ezcaban before crouch?
Snape was never a Death Eater, he was a double agent for Dumbledore. He was also in the Order, so if we are talking Death Eaters Bellatrix Lestrange would be the most powerful Death Eater.
I mean Snape was a death eater during the first Wizarding war.
Vault Entertainment Corp He never has the dark mark, so therefore he was never officially a death eater.
@@clzj1129 ....He was. Watch or read the 4th book.
@@clzj1129 I can't with you. He had the dark mark what are you talking about. He didn't care about any other mud blood or Muggle besides lily.
