Walked this hill recently, good for an evening stroll . Plenty of pick nick tables on route for a rest if midges are not about! I was in Luke no midges .
Aye it's very nice for a wee hike the views over to the west are amazing pity they wee buggers come out and spoil the fun never get used to them in a 100 years lol!
in front of the tv,looking for something else and this was recommended.this reminds me of the story where a mansion is opposite a poor mans house and the question is who has the best view.maybe not such a bad thing forgetting your tent..good excuse to go back! thanks Peter,I enjoyed this.
Aye maybe but........Would have been well worth it though just to sit an no worry about the long drive back home. But still no complaining as i got a peach of an ending :) Thanks Ken hope your well mate.
You could see the midges flying about in your camera Peter! Just shows you that you dont need to get too high up to catch an amazing sunset. Nice wee picnic stops on that hill too. Cheers peter.
Did not see one all day until then couldnt believe it the place were i wanted to stop and film then they wee b*********s turn up and spoil it lol! They were crawling up my nose and in my ears as well was mental!!
Aww that wee hill brings back memories. About 15yrs ago me n missus stayed for a week in a caravan at Tralee just along the road. That was my nightly walk with my Boxer dug Great views. Martin.
Great wee place to go for a holiday especially in a caravan, Was that the site right on the beach by any chance? If i was there for a week i think i would be up there every night too stunning wee hill with great views! Thanks for watching Martin.
Oh aye its great i was surprised how good it actually was. Regretting no taking my tent thought could have sat up there until well after midnight. Thanks Graham, peter :)
Cracking hill with great views Peter. You've jogged my memory banks forgot I had been up this hill many moons ago when we stayed on the Ledaig campsite. The sunsets from the campsite over to Mull were amazing. A beautiful part of the world. Take care bud. Mick
Cheers Mick aye its beautiful the sunset is the main reason i picked this hill knew they would be good from there. Hopefully back on the Munro trail next 🤞
What a lovely area, why on earth do all the holiday makers head for Spain etc when we have such stunning locations like this at home. But let's not tell them, that way we can all enjoy your videos of Scotland and its beauty just hiking from our armchairs. Thanks Peter.
Its a stunning area Magnus very underated in my eyes the beaches are great too. Aye lets keep it quiet too many bodies spoil it just look at Spain classic example.
What a beautiful walk & sunset. Passed this road several times during our Scotland holidays, mostly in rainy weather whilst being there in the summer months. We always look forward to your interesting picures/movies, it keeps our moral high. Glad to learn that restrictions have been lifted, so that you can go & bag munro’s farther afield. Good luck Peter, kind regards from Anne-Marie & Jan, Antwerp, Flanders, Belgium 😉.
Hey Jan how are you and Ann-Marie? All well i hope :) It's a very beautiful wee hill with fantastic views i knew i would get a good sunset due to it's location but i got a ton of midges too ha ha you cant win in Scotland when they are about :) Yes i will be back on the Munro trail from now on fingers crossed we get a good summer. Thanks for watching and take care, peter :)
@@MUNROSnCORBETTS Thanks for that quick & kind reply. Quite well, both half vaccinated, and still healthy, thank God ! I took a sabbatical starting from november last year, after almost 2 yrs of backproblems thanks to my employer who save & scrimp money where possible. Anne-Marie also having burnout problems because of the same employer (Min. of Just. !) and is now looking for another job. We saw that the dreaded midges gave you an early departure from that lovely spot during sunset. We ask ourselves how many millions of pounds these midges cost to the tourist industry of your country ??? We’d like to visit Scotland this summer - last stay was august 2018 - but the travel rules are very desorientating. Not using social media, is there a possibility - and if you care for that - we can get in touch through classic e-mail ? All the best & good luck with the walking/climbing preparations. Jan & Anne-Marie 👍
Absolutely superb day Peter. The rain had come on gone it seems leaving only a little saturated land. Mostly great views. Yeah, more days like this would suit. Good going. Mark
Thanks Mark may this year was rotten as you say rain rain..etc Hopefully a wee dose of settled weather so we all can get back out at it. Thanks for watching mate hope all is well.

Not my hill or hike, just watching it because I like the stuff you talk about have the feeling that I learn every walk something new! Would love to have a hike with you some time 👋👍
Yeah i know these wee hills would be a bit tame for you Stripey but glad you still watch. At last i have found someone who likes to listen to my voice!!! lol! Even my Dad dosent ha ha!!!!
Great stuff MnCs. Will be driving past it beginning of July to spend a day in Oban on the way home from spending a few days in Glencoe/Ft.William. Wonder if I can persuade my wife to nip up this hill with me.
And why not eh? It was better than i thought it would be but it is very typical of that area stunning place. Good luck with getting your better half to the summit just say there is a H+M or Versace shop at the top lol! Thanks John have a nice time when it comes, peter :))
Midgies love to spoil the fun! Those views were waiting for though, even if you were being tortured. It would be nice to take a three-course meal up that hill, and enjoy a course at each viewing spot. You'd need to take one of those insect repellent smoke coils.
Yeah that would be nice no i know why they chopped all they trees down stunning views everywhere on that hill. Not one midgie until i got to the last viewing spot bloody typical eh? ha ha! Such is life lol! Thanks for watching Natalie take care.
Aye true Stevie wee hill but a great vantage point knew i would maybe get a good sunset from there, Regret not taking the tent up now but i did have a nice wee drive back down an almost deserted A-82 to Glasgow got back at 12-45 am was gubbed lol! Thanks for watching big man, peter.
Oh aye David that wee hill was a cracker even with they wee bas*ard midgies doin my nut in lol! But it is a very beautiful hill and area too could move there in a minute i think. If memory serves i drove back via Glencoe and i had an almost deserted A-82 back down to Glasgow was an amazing night drive.
@@MUNROSnCORBETTS Brilliant Peter, yeah I have been savaged by midges in the past too. Particularly my badger days, remaining motionless for ages while getting stripped to the bone by the wee varmints lol. Yeah my favourite days on the hills have been non Munro's Peter.I will have to visit there one day.
What a great walking film. Glad it wasn't too boggy on that top section. You got some really good shots from the summit. With your permission may I link to it from the Benderloch.com website? Hope the midge bites feel better today. Take care Steve.
