Here's an idea: Try taking a few cars and stripping them down, remove all the doors, panels and any excess weight, and see how they do around the track compared to their normal counterparts.

Also, the 4.0-litre engine has around 30 more horsepower available making it 190hp and 230 lb/ft of torque. This will be a fun one when my car's ready.

Judjing by the temperature and fuel gauges, it looks like that the ETK kept fuel and coolant in despite the ruptures though sheer force of will. Engine was barely any warmer that it would be after four laps of being driven hard, and almost none of the fuel actually spilled out. Wow.
I raise a beer to the S-series. (I know it isn't a proper toast, but, you know what, I don't care. It's the best I can come up with on such short notice.)
He did it on the #6 episode, and Automation cars are not good at it. They can't have punctured radiators and it's extremelly hard to break the engine, so the only thing the car can go out for is suspension failure. Also, they don't have a good damage model, at least compared to BeamNG vehicles, so it doesn't make for an interesting episode.
They are working on improving the import system to Beam, so hopefully in the near future we will see more realistic Automation cars, and therefore more realistic results when you crash them...
Should just do a second driven till destruction for the automation cars. Would be interesting to see what kind of creative ways people use to get the cars to survive as long as possible.
Just a suggestion but maybe try a 4wd Mirrimar with a 2.0 engine from the Pessima and big offroad wheels, I know it's possible as I've done it before, and I got to Lap 12!
One of these days I'd actually like to see something attempt this "sensibly". Without off-roading to avoid the jumps and the two rocky drops, I'm not sure it would be possible to keep anything going till it ran out of fuel.
since you do these videos so much get a steering wheel it would help allot with the messed up alignment most your accidents are because you dont have the control to keep in a straight line once the alignment gets to that 90% undrivable mark you start swerving to much because how bad controllers are at counter steering unless your on keyboard then thats even worse i cant even go around corners normally with a keyboard in this game

The S Series' failure on the leaderboard is wrong; it went out with a wheel axle failure and the board says it was steering failure.

but at the same time, steering was the cause of the crash where it most the wheel, so that might be the reasoning behind it?

You should drive the pigeon around the Endurodome! It’s not very fast so if it doesn’t flip too much, it might do ok.

That hopper doesn’t have diff locks, it has lock in front axles that you have to manually turn to engage the front wheel axles

try some automation cars around the endurodrome.. maybe even build a car specifically to last as long as possible around this course

I suggest trying the Maluch mod on the track, maybe a comparision of normal spec. and the Offroad build
