| The Anchor | is a five-piece, female-fronted, metalcore band from Denver, Colorado. | The Anchor | and Linzey Rae have made a name for themselves since the viral explosion of their RUclips series, Metal Kitchen. | The Anchor | prides themselves on making metalcore accessible and fun for people who don’t generally listen to the genre. Ultimately, | The Anchor | creates music to help others find a voice of understanding and simply be themselves.
We write music with the objective of providing an uplifting message while promoting the value of self-worth. Knowing firsthand the refuge that music can offer away from life’s struggles, we hope to be a voice of understanding and provide a place that someone can call their home. This is so much more than a band, it is a family.

Linzey is the most amazing and positive person I've ever met if I could give this video a million views I would. At the darkest point in my life when unfortunately suicide was heavy on my mind one more day changed my life and inspired me to keep moving forward. Linzey if you see this thankyou and keep making music your an amazing artist with so much talent and positivity to spread to the world. Give all the band mates a very big hearted thankyou for everything they do

I came across this band as a suggestion on my Facebook feed and it was a snippet of this music video. I've listened to a lot of different female-fronted metal bands, but I have never heard any of them go as guttural as Linzey. If someone just played me the audio of this I wouldn't be able to tell if this was a male or female vocalist. Then she sings with clean vocals and sounds amazing and flawless. Definitely got a new fan here, I'm honestly blown away by your talents
