This is an exciting new feature and I'm looking forward to seeing how this will evolve for project planning!

@dave, I know its not too professional, but I like that you left your 'mistakes' in this video. I do a lot of in-house training videos around SCORM, CMI5, and xAPI through Microsoft Stream. Folks that normally view the videos dont know all the post production effort it takes to pull off a polished product. I have calculated roughly 4x in post production than it took to originally record all of it. Small mistakes prove you are human. Please keep teaching!!

11:13 - How to activate custom labels on issue creation ? Is this possible on free plan or only above premium plan ?

You can definitely do that in Free. You need to go on the Field (Column) of the project board, click on the 3 dots (...) and there you have "Edit Values"

Would love to have another video about how you created and can customize the views (feature and epic). Also for a custom type (with the drop down) is it possible to pull the values from another system, say values of Jira IDs for stories?

I partially talk about it in the video, you can see that you can create a view clicking on the +, then I show that you can change between board and table, and you can filter them by any field :)
About the dropdown, at the moment the value can only be hardcoded in the YAML. I guess you could have a GitHub Actions that read from Jira and changes the content of the yml, but yeah... not out of the box :D

When will there be custom due dates for issues?

HI. I'm not aware on any timeline on that. That doesn't mean the team is not working on that feature, but there is no public roadmap information about it :)

How are you creating different views with different tasks?
Every time i make a new view, it is an exact clone of the last one and mimics every action i make across all views?

After creating a new view, you can change it between "Table" and "Board", and then you can apply different filters and grouping, add/remove fields, etc

Awesome, Thank you! Small question, what software do you use to dynamically show arrow, boxes etc?

Thanks! ☺️ the software I use is called ZoomIt

Can't wait for this to go public! GitHub Issues has always been a bit clunky for project management

It is public, for organizations 😄 yes you are right, there’s still much to do in that area… its still nowhere near services like Azure Boards or Jira, but imho this is quite a jump forward
