I am Latina and I will answer this in English. The word "usted" can be used with anyone, with one of the same age or older, that has nothing to do with it. In the same way the word "tú " can be used with someone of the same age or older, it does not matter... hola, soy colombiana y soló quería aclarar eso, espero puedan aprender español fácilmente

In order to help remember by association and context, it would help to put all phrases/words that are similar or opposite 'right after one another' (most are but not all)...but in general it's very helpful, thanks!
