The Myth Story: The Yellow Robe Monster of Baoxiang Kingdom

The myth story tells that the Yellow Robe Monster (奎木狼星君) came down to earth, abducted the princess of Baoxiang Kingdom, Baihuaxiu, and gave birth to children with her. Sun Wukong and others went through hardships and finally subdued the Yellow Robe Monster with the help of Guanyin Bodhisattva and the gods in heaven and rescued the princess. The story embodies the themes of karma, loyalty and perseverance, and the victory of justice, and also reflects some values of ancient society.
