Sad that Frisco areas got rid of cabooses/full crews at or before 1989, long before NP/GN/CBQ areas did (1991-93). Still a great era for railroading, far better than today. This was the beginning of the end of railroading thanks to 1985 Halloween agreement. Just a distant memory now. BN was by far the best railroad I ever worked for in 24 years railroading! #1.

I miss hearing leslie horns! 7:35 six or more engines on a train is amazing no matter what year it is! 9:11 nice catch of an LMX Dash 8 leading solo! 11:52 did that one engine say "Missouri Pacifc" on the side?

Wow....BN decided to keep a couple of S5T’s on former Frisco Units for a while..cool!
Only 1 was in this video was an actual former SLSF unit. That would be BN 6844 and, like all Frisco units, had a fouled horn.
It’s amazing that BNSF has been around longer than the BN was.

MrBnsftrain .....agree with the 6 engines. You should check out Apache Railway videos. They usually have several engines pulling
