These binoculars have been very interesting to use. I look forward to taking them with me on camping trips. What do you think about NV binoculars? Is it something that you can see yourself using?

what a cool thing... I did my military service in 2000 - you should have seen the "Restlichtverstärker 95" (short: RLV95), what a beast that was, big, heavy, and only with a small percentage of functionality of this thing...
(btw service in swiss airforce, as observer. next to the RLV95 we had the thermal-based "Wärmebildgerät 90" (looking like an old tv-camera), prefered the RLV over ist, was lighter to carry and move (incl. turning)... I'd prefer a thermal-cam over IR, bc IR can trigger all kind of shi..ce, like bugs, remotes, light-sensors (no fun when in IR mode someones garden-lights go on and you blind yourself ;)

That's interesting, my Dad was in the US Air Force and told stories about their night vision goggles too. They were in the dark with them on and a car rounded the hill with his headlights on. 😵‍💫

BTW - can you do another test? let the NV008 run in IR-mode, and see if a common IR-based remote can distrub it (older IR-cams had that bug)
