By this way, this is NOT the Storm. This is Nancy and my songwriting demo. It is myself on keyboards, Randy Tobin and I both created the drums and bass, and we had a session guitarist come in and play the guitars. Vocals are by Kristina Nichols and Mark Free. I arranged the song and wrote the music. There is no connection with the Storm. Without Nancy or my knowledge, they released my songwriting demo on their demo album. :-) It's been so many years, I do not mind, as the song is still so powerful and it needs to be heard. Thank you, everyone, for your wonderful comments!

The whole song is great but my god Mark's voice from 1:12 to 1:18 is so insanely powerful and passionate it always brings me to my knees. It's absolutely devastating the impact it has on me. I always look forward to that part when I listen to this song haha ;)
Mark truly is my all time pick when it comes to being the most underrated singer of all time. Every time I have that discussion Mark is always the first one I think of when it comes to fiery, soulful and emotional voices. I'd even rank him higher than singers like Lou Gramm, Michael Bolton, David Coverdale etc, even in their prime, because Mark is the only one who gives me goosebumps every time I hear him.

Thank you-🫶 they do appear slightly different with the duet version. I think the Lyrics sound correct to me, except " I think it's " I'LL Break Down All Your Defenses: not just "I". I don't normally correct people, except in this case because the correct tense makes a difference with the context of the song. Even just that lil thing, IT changes the meaning.✨️And the Song doesn't just end with the last Chorus ** The Song is @5 mins Long, YET The FADE OUT Lyrics are a MINUTE LONG⏳️❣️. ** So I listened and listened and I think this is the rest of the Song because it's not complete without them.✨️ It's One of My Favotite Songs💖🎵 💫

Wow and wow again! Am hearing this for the first time and am already a fan of Mr Free. This is amazing and by God does this musically belittled world of ours need so much more of this kind of power ballad. I have to say this ranks with Alone by Heart and See You In My Dreams by Giant, two more phenomenal power ballads. The Storm's version sounds a bit "narcissistic" and one-sided to me; just a woman singing by herself and all. This song really needs to be a duet between a man and a women. That's what makes this song so powerful.
