Ketamine has literally saved my life. I’ve been doing infusions for almost two years. I’d been on a million medications, tried transcranial magnetic stimulation, electroconvulsive treatments and went through years and years of therapy. Nothing has helped like ketamine. It pulled me from the very darkest place I’d ever been and did it quickly. I’ve been functioning at a more healthy level than I have in over 20 years. I’m so very grateful.
@@jinkledinkle8423 Ketamine indirectly decreased my depression symptoms by drastically reducing negative chatter in my head. I still have to be on guard and make sure I'm not dwelling on negative thoughts etc. but it's much easier now. My wife went with me on all my sessions and after the first one it opened me up emotionally so much that after the session I was crying asking my wife to forgive me for being such a shithead to her. But I didn't feel self conscious at all being so emotional, it felt good to be that open. It's a huge commitment bc you're supposed to have 6 sessions within 10 or 14 days and I was pretty wiped out each session bc of nausea and just feeling pretty spacey. So you basically have to set aside the 10-14 days because you can't go to work or even drive afterwards. I pray you will have great results if you plan on doing this, best of luck to you.
I’m grateful for this research, I suffered with treatment resistant depression for 15 years, and was suicidal when I learned about ketamine and found a clinic to receive it. I’ve been receiving treatments for almost 9 months and it has been life changing. My depression has lifted almost entirely, I define myself and my life differently, I have energy to engage in life, etc. it has been a miracle for me
I'm glad you found some relief. I'm checking into it for my clinical depression I've been battling for 30 years now. I'm hoping I can receive the therapy even though I'm currently on methadone maintenance for opiate addiction. I've been stabilized several years and am actually weaning off the medicine but I'm worried it might prevent me from being able to do it if I let them know.
Robbie Tucker I think a lot of it has to do with the doctor or clinic that you go to, my doctor actually uses ketamine to not only treat depression but also to treat addictions, I know alcohol and cigarettes, I’ll ask about what he thinks about treating someone that has been coming off an opiate addiction and let you know what he says.
@@jeremyncrm2012 Thanks for the reply. I actually had my first infusion today. It was quite an experience. I can definitely tell already that my mood is lifted and there is less internal chatter going on in my head. I go back in two days for my next one. Looking forward to feeling better.
@@jeremyncrm2012 hello, that is helping each other. Me self, in France, I have that problem of telling or not some information to doctors. I have 40 mg of oxycontin since my operation. So the good thing about ketamine is the pain relief and the lowering the morphine (oxycontin). I just survive with 40 mg. No feel good at all. But to make it more comfortable, I think the dosage will increase dramatically. Every waking up is horrible. Ketamine has been the only thing to work for me and I’ve been on celexa, Prozac, Wellbutrin, and Lamictal. The only problem is my ketamine prescription isn’t covered by insurance, so now I’m trying a tricyclic. It’s too bad that the medical industry is profitable. Health care should be a right.

I pray that insurances figure out that they are spending all this money on medication when it is cheaper to just prescribe ketamene. They have paid more for my doctor visits, ssris, anti anxiety and off labeled medications like Prazison (PTSD flashbacks ) in money than they would iv ketamene which literally saved my life when I finding my 18 year old son dead just sent me into a mental crash and saved my life in 12 hours (from suicide). I have had to do more than the 6 to 8 treatments but I have far more trauma than just finding my 18 son dead. I've tried probably 25 different antidepressants over my life, none of which have really done anything. I was told that I might be able to try S-Ketamine. I've waited over a year and seems like it's just not going to happen. I'm sick of trying
Can you use some of that money and let me get the rest of the treatments I need and some esketamine for use at home. It really helps my migraines and all my surgery places and past wounds along with the ptsd and depression
