CLC are still active as Seunghee, Seungyeon, Yujin, Yeeun, and Eunbin! Yes, Yujin is still part of the group while being also in Kep1er. Their contracts don’t end until March, which they can either renew or terminate, expect Eunbin who joined the group later so hers expires later. Until then, please still be supportive to them! They are actually still active as a group doing show appearances like a few days ago seunghee and seungyeon were on the show Guide map K-ROAD, yeeun was on a game show and promoted cube’s new store as a clc member, all three are in a new horror film series called Taste of Horror set to be released soon, Yujin in kep1er for 2.5 years but can still work with clc if schedule allows it. Eunbin even said on fancafe when Yujin was on GirlsPlanet999 that CLC will comeback when Yujin can work with them. Not saying that things can end but just giving the information that they aren’t over as of right now. Edit: cube just referred to yujin as a clc member and is promoting her for the acting!!! Show is called Pumpkin Time coming out December 17TH !!!
Honestly I don't think many of them will renew. Cuz what Sorn said CUBE stopped promoting them and funding them entirely. So this will definitely make them not wanna renew with CUBE.

Tbh I'll be surprised if they'll renew. If they didn't plan to give CLC any activities, they could have given Seunghee a solo debut at least this year, but no. It's sad but it really feels like CUBE just waits for their contract to expire...
watching this i finally get why they didnt hit it big after hogbolin..seems like cube wasnt completly all in on the girlcrush concept and so they gave them balads as their second comeback both in 2017 and 2018, only in 2019 did they have two girlcrush comebacks in a row, so they basically waited a year each time to give them a girl crush comeback, and then they waited more then a year after "ME" to give them one with helicopter..at least devil which they were given in between was pretty catchy, but yea, i think it was their lack of confidence and commitment to go full in on the girlcrush concept that didnt allow clc to grow bigger, i read somewhere that sorn gave them a powerpoint presentation about the reasons why they should stick to the girlcrush concept for them to finally be convinced but it may have been too late by then
not u calling where are you a crappy ballad 😭 that's actually a pretty good song imo but cube was wrong for making that their followup with hobgoblin, maybe it should've just been a bside or something

I became a big fan of CLC after Black Dress, from then on I feel like they mostly found their sound and concepts that really worked well for them (didnt know about them before Black Dress, but tbh besides hobgoblin, I'm not a fan of all their other earlier songs/concepts). Cube wasted all that talent and potential, for their success and revenue overall. Such a shame how Cube wasted and treated CLC, I will never support another one of their groups for this reason CLC was one of my top 3 groups for a while, such talent and personality, they were an amazing group. All the members are talented af, hope they find success once they finally end their contracts soon, I will be supporting and wishing them well! (so glad Yujin got into Kep1er btw, hope I can see her/them at a KCON or concert! haha)

I misread the title as the evolution of the legends. Can t believe that one of the brightest stars in k pop got sucked into the black hole called disbandment. It s not like they weren't pushed there by CUBE. Maybe relatively not many know this group, but for those who know them, they will always be remembered. Alexa, play RUN by SORN...
The discography is perfect. I still don't understand why they didn't get big...they deserve it so much. The members are all so pretty and talented! Seungyeon is one of the best dancer in kpop, Seunghee has such a unique and beautiful voice, Yeeun rap is pure fire, Yujin is THE definition of adorable, Sorn is an amazing all-rounder, Elkie is such a perfect visual, and finally Eunbin the pretty maknae ~ So happy their song NO did get a win, this song is just a masterpiece!
Such a shame that Cube produced so many bad title songs for them and gave them inconsistent comebacks early on, because they were too busy with 4minute and then with gidle. After Hobgoblin they should have known they had something big. CLC finally gets the year they deserve in 2019, and then Cube locks them in the basement again, this time probably forever. There are lots of groups whose success has been killed by bad management, but I don't think any group had as much wasted musical potential as CLC. They could have had a discography to match any girl group in the industry, and instead there are only the tantalizing bits and pieces of a dream unfulfilled.
after finishing the video I realized some of the reasons the group didn't get that far. reason 1: the sudden change of concepts overnight (one time they come up with "hobgoblin" with a girl crush concept with heavy beats and a lot of attitude and at another time they come up with "where are you?" which is a city song sweet and romantic pop and several other examples as well) reason 2: the huge distance from the group's releases is glaring, as it took a long time until hobgoblin came out and other singles from them also came out a long time later causing the audience to lose a little interest in the group and it was all blamed on the cube's poor administration. knew what to do and ruined a talented and complete group.
Whoa!!!!!!! girls from CLC, you have grown up too a lot lot more through 6 years of your KPOP music career.... Even if your group disbanded last year 2021, your music will remain in my heart and soul always and forever... I will also an avid and dedicated CHESHIRE fangirl here in the Philippines forever..... Saranghaeyo all of you members of the group with all my heart and soul!!!!!!!!!
CLC and Lovelyz had full potential to be popular girl groups, but people have been sleeping on them. They deserved the success, fame and recognition like how the popular girl groups are. And their agencies did them dirty. Not promoting them well enough. Imma miss CLC and hopefully they will reunite in the near future or future ahead :(
CLC is my all time favorite group. They had the talent, visuals and songs that you don't grow tired of. They had great dancers, rappers and main vocals. It's a crime they didn't get more attention. Sometimes it's hard to tell members apart in a group. CLC had all individual visuals.
It's quite a trajectory. Pepe was an excellent song, already defining the basics of their style, but they did not follow it up. The next songs are quite unremarkable (not the group's fault, of course) and then comes Hobgoblin and everything changes (I "discovered" them at that point, as, I am sure, many others did). From then on, they are one of the top groups with a string of great songs, but working within one of the worst companies. Bad luck indeed, but they managed to preserve their charisma and Sorn is trying hard to keep the group spirit alive, so hopefully one day they will be great again.
Don’t forget TS Entertainment. They made cube look good and ruined the potential of all of their groups. Secret was popular but their career was destroyed thanks to TS. TS robbed potential of BAP, Untouchable, Sonamoo, & TRCNG due to abusing them, not paying them, leaving them to starve, etc
They haven't officially disbanded yet right? Obviously yujin is with kep1er for 2 .5 years and Sorn just left recently. The possible thing to do is either a sub unit or solo debut for one of the remaining members. Or straight to cube just saying yeah they have officially now disbanded 🤷🏻
They unofficially disbanded. Yujin said in GP999 that Cube will not support their comebacks. They just don't want to admit that they destroyed another group. We don't have to wait for any comeback because there will not be any. And they contracts will expire on January 2022. I don't think any of girls will want to renew it

Really disappointing when kpop stans talk about the best discographies and never mention CLC's albums. Listen to their b-sides, 100% quality music💘
At least CLC's contracts will expire on January 2022. We can hope that our girls will have better future outside of Cube

I like Pepe and Hogoblin BUT!!! I will love FOREVER "DISTANCE" It's my favorite song!!! I love it with all my heart
