Good luck to you all at AirFest and BALLS. I have my Big Nuke 3E av bay apart right now so I can install the Featherweight tracker (thanks Braden for the recommendation). It'll be flying on that same L900 that I had there in New York.
Sorry to crowd the comments, but JB weld is legit my primary adhesive on fiberglass rockets. I built this little 2.6" Pike with it not long ago. That thing has flown on a K711, an L730, and an L805, it's landed on the road, it's been dragged through gravel, it landed on a metal roof... and she's right here in the corner ready to go.
@@karlrobinson4887 That all depends on the fin span and how fast the rocket is going to go! Smaller rockets let you get away with pretty small fillets, but a great example of massive fillets necessary is the 5" Punisher. Even with using the 8% of the root general rule of thumb, the 3/16" G10 fins are still only good (based on sims) to around Mach 1.6. It's definitely a moving target.
Sup y'all? Haven't harassed you clowns in a while (I'm a paid subscriber now. I can talk like that). The O3400 flight sounds freakin' awesome. Hope to see it. If Braden is worried about the hardware, just give him a personal check as a deposit and then immediately call the bank and put a stop payment on it. Do I have to think of everything? Damn kids these days with yer mini bikes and your boom boxes...
I love using the GoPro Hero4/Hero5 Session. They are great quality footage and the form factor makes them simple for attachment, but they are aggressive for smaller rockets. There IS one for sale for a crazy good deal right now, though: www.ebay.com/itm/256609124404?_nkw=GoPro+Hero+Session&epid=15032166814&itmmeta=01J5P27T2CSEXVJ4DZPKT6KTTP&hash=item3bbf188034:g:2CoAAOSwNAxmw2w6&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKn4P0GkbYRR5NSyZKRvO9ojC6FvVv%2BaaOztIn3%2BR9H6Tm5A6HAyDLXfN%
"Goodbye 3840" is one of the best musical pieces of our time. Thank you for that.
The song is exactly the right amount of too much!

The songs were golden.

@karlrobinson4887 I do think it's fairly slept on and it's very strong, but it is also quite heavy.
@@RocketVlogs True, but you don't need as much as you might think. My fillets on that rocket are quite small.
