    SUMMARY
    Mevo by Logitech has just announced a new premium service called Mevo Pro. It brings two exciting new capabilities to your live streaming setup with more features to come.
    With Mevo Pro, you can stream to multiple destinations simultaneously. This will take up no additional bandwidth on your end as the service is handled by Streamlabs' servers. You can add any common streaming platform as well as a custom RTMP stream.
    Mevo Go allows you to turn your iOS or Android phone or tablet into a camera, microphone or video source for your Multicam production. Only the host of the show needs to have a Mevo Pro account to use the feature. Just launch the free Mevo Go companion app on any device, choose Audio and Video, Audio only, or Screencast, to include it in a Mevo Multicam production.
    This is just the beginning of what's to come with Mevo Pro. Over the coming months and years, more and more features will be added.

    The journey of Mevo is really exciting. I wish their next Gen Mevo feature better sensor for low light performance and a mount option to allow external zoom lens such as Moment 58mm Lens for iPhone.

    Thanks for the tutorial Joseph. I would like to include in the setup a regular videocamera with zoom. Let's say I want to stream a football game. Would it that be posible?

      Unfortunately no; the system only allows Mevo or Mevo app (from a phone) to connect.

    @PhotoJoseph, good stuff!!!!. PhotoJoseph, I DJ and the sound quality from the 38mm jack for the Mevo Start is ok... just ok. Is there a way I can connect (bypassing the 38mm input) by using the fuller audio quality sound via Mevo Go implementation?

    • @photojoseph
      @photojoseph  Год назад

      Interesting. You could connect a USB audio interface to an Android phone or iPad, however I don't know that the quality will be any better than what you have now by the time it gets to Mevo Multicam over the Mevo Go connection.

    I record and stream my sons hockey games and looking for a solution where I can set up a camera on either side of the ice and also center ice and have all 3 recording/streaming at the same time. I’d also like to be able to toggle on the fly between the 3 cameras depending on where the action is. Is this possible with mevo and adding devices to it?

    • @photojoseph
      @photojoseph  Год назад

      That’s exactly what Mevo Multicam does. Watch these two videos: What's the EASIEST way to go LIVE with multiple cameras? Featuring Mevo Start and Mevo Multicam!
      ruclips.net/video/30_blAMMCKw/видео.html and How to Setup your Mevo Cameras like a PRO - Mevo Multicam COMPLETE Setup Guide!
      ruclips.net/video/jqGbyMnrpG4/видео.html - however you will need good wifi which may be difficult in a venue like that. The alternative would be run run Ethernet to each camera but that may not be possible. Best to build your own wifi network because all those people there will definitely mess with your wireless connection.

    • @sibertiger17
      @sibertiger17 9 месяцев назад

      This is exactly what I'm trying to do. One camera behind each net and one at center ice where I'll be controlling it all. I was also wondering about the cell hotspot range and if it can handle the three cameras for live streaming....from what I found, using a portable router like the AXT1800 can help boost the signal and something about the cameras having that AP mode now helps.
      Have you figured it all out yet? What have you gotten to for your setup?

      Instagram doesn’t have a streaming API, so no one else can stream to it. yellowduck is illegal and YoloLiv has the native Instagram app loaded in their android based device, so they can do it legally.

    Anybody who's using Multicam and Mevo Go, here's a pro level hidden feature! On android, you can split screen and run both apps at once allowing you to control your Mevo cams WHILE using the internal phone camera for handheld! If you happen to be the owner of an LG Wing or another dual screen device, you can actually have each app on its own screen allowing full access to pinch zoom and pan on the internal cam. It's a pretty unreal experience!

      @datmeme8967 Год назад +1

      @@photojoseph Definitely. I had asked MEVO customer service if this was possible and they said no, so it's an off-label capability quirk only available on android. My jaw is still on the floor after this worked.

    (Google Translate, i’m French)
    Discussion title: What minimum tablet configuration for the Multicam with MEVO START?
    Hello everyone,
    I just purchased a pack of 3 MEVO START and I want to have 6 more or MEVO go with iPhone or iPad…
    I tested the Multicam with the following devices:
    - iPad Air 2: Obviously too old since when I play the Multicam recording, the sound is completely out of sync with the image
    - Samsung S7+ (much more recent): The sound is well aligned with the image but on the other hand there are jerks in the image (they do not seem to be at 30 frames/second but just at half, like an old webcam …
    - Google Pixel 4a smartphone: Same observation as with the Samsung S7+, therefore not satisfactory
    - iPhone 14 PRO: Fortunately I had just acquired this smartphone otherwise I would have resold the MEVO STARTs without satisfaction. With the iPhone 14 pro, there are no these jerks, it seems that there is the right number of frames per second so that the human eye does not feel any jerk. However, I find the screen a little too small and a shame to use my phone during the recordings...
    I specify that during all the tests, I tried all the software configurations offered by the app (all latency settings, with or without wifi router box, etc., different image qualities, it jerks as soon as you arrive at 720p with all my devices except the iPhone 14 pro)
    In short, I would like to buy a tablet with which there would be no synchronization problems or visual stutters, but what is the minimum configuration for that?
    For example, the 2018 iPad pro 11 or 2017 iPad Pro 10.5 would still be within my budget as a second-hand purchase, but will it work with it?
    With which tablet do you take your Multicam recordings and are you completely satisfied with the result?
    Thanks a lot for your answers !
    Olivier.

    Helping friend multicam livestream wedding on LoveCast- LoveCast says
    There are 3 ways you can choose to perform the livestream on the Lovecast platform:
    1. Go live directly from the Lovecast mobile app
    2. Go live from a streaming camera with their app (e.g. a GoPro or Mevo camera)
    3. Go live from a camera that can be connected to a computer (e.g. a DSLR camera)
    But with Mevo Pro, might there be a fourth way? I can feel it, but I can't see it yet. Can you? Thanks for your channel!

    • @photojoseph
      @photojoseph  Год назад +1

      Yeah, that'd be the RTMP stream. LoveCast will provide a streaming URL and key, you just add them into the custom stream field in Mevo Pro!

    • @photojoseph
      @photojoseph  Год назад +1

      For live, it really is… now I will say that it should be higher than 1080 simply for digital cropping, but as a long time live streamer who was pushing 4K streaming four or five years ago, still no one is doing it. I do now again, and it's a pain!! But yes, to have more room to crop into, I agree.
